okay. starting out might just be the hardest thing to ever attempt. you have nobody reading your stuff, you're not even sure if it's good enough, and it's your first time ever sticking yourself out there like that.

imma let you in on a little secret:

WRITE FOR YOURSELF

do not get caught up in pleasing others. every single time i've let any sort of clout i got get to my head, i end up in writing slumps.

if you take anything away from this, take that.

i know you probably feel like nobody will ever see the stuff you worked so hard on, but that's not an excuse to give up. at the very least, just keep uploading. don't look at votes, or comments, or views. just post and don't look back. maybe you'll get lucky like i did.

over all though, keep on writing. right now, you're at rock bottom. the only way to go from there is up.

and one more thing! your writing style will be different from mine. your writing style will be different from my mutuals'. everybody has their own, unique way of writing. if you don't sound exactly like me or any other seasoned writers from the get-go, then it means you're actually human. only the best of the best started off with shitty writing that could barley even be considered writing.

you will make mistakes. you will go through the cringey faze just like all authors have gone through. and then, once you've gotten better, you will realize these mistakes. and you'll also realize that you've grown so much.

the first few attempts at writing might seem almost impossible, but you will overcome it. and one day, you will sit where i sit currently.
