{TW: Insecurity}
-----------------
She was a girl who didn't fit one, the girl who didn't have a 'glow up,' the girl who didn't dye her hair and who didn't change her personality. She was different and stood out like a sore thumb and she knew this very well.

Everyday, she looked in the mirror, staring at her hair or her face, wondering what she would look like with a little makeup or a few strands of dyed hair. She stared at her stomach, wishing that it wasn't that way. She looked at her clothing style - comfy and long sweatpants and oversized hoodies. But even these, her comfort and choices, were questioned.

What caused this? Society. People. Her classmates. Her 'friends.'

Everywhere she went, she felt insecure. She felt everyone's eyes on her as she walked by. The eyes of every person pierced through the back of her skull, like a lazar. If each and every stare left a mark on her body, she would be covered in holes. She didn't find the need to change herself then but now?

Her hair was now different shades of brown and shoulder-length, her eyes surrounded by thick lines of eyeliner and light shades of eyeshadow. She had lost weight - so much to the point that she was almost unrecognisable. She now wore short skirts and cropped tops and this time, everyone stared in envy.

How could she have earned so much in a three week break?

By starving herself, forcing her fingers down her mouth. Tears streamed down her face as she watched the putrid liquid wash away with whatever happiness she had. She didn't do it for herself though, she did it for them. For the people who stared.

She wasn't happy with her change and she wasn't happy with what society made her do but did anyone care? No.

To all those wonderful ladies and gentlemen who feel insecure, who feel ashamed or get insulted by other people, you are amazing. Know that they're just douchebags and have nothing better to do 'cause they know that you're the unique child, the special one, no matter what kind of uniqueness it is.

I'm free anytime so message me if you have anything to get off of your shoulders =]
