This story was also inspired by the Japanese stage play "Twilight of a Crane" and the K-drama series "Goblin: The Lonely and Great God." The play had a significant impact on me during my O/L exams, and I became obsessed with it. As for the K-drama series, I'm currently re-watching it for the third time.

For re-readers: there may have been changes done to the plot and characters, and this new version will be wary in length and alignment from the previous one, with additional chapters, hopefully well chunked and easy to read.
