Chapter 9: Back again :D

"You ready, Y/N? It's the final..."
"Yes, Arlo....I'm ready..." You said checking your hair one last time before grabbing your pokéballs in your sweaty hands (cause u were nervous-).
"Don't panic, just take deep breathes and go" "Spe spe" "Sau" Arlo, teddiursa and Spearow reassured and pushed you to the stage.

"Y/N....it's my pleasure to finally get to have a battle with you"

"It's my pleasure too, Solidad." You said shaking hands with her in the middle of the battle field. (Your wearing that pink skirt showed in the previous chapter)
"I really wished to have a battle with you in the last grand festival, but sadly I had to lose and didn't got the chance"
"I also wished that I could fight with you"
"Well then. Let's do our best!"
"Yep!" You said smiling, trying your best not to mess up

With Ash

"Pikachu...dont worry we will be there soon....and Y/N, I'm so sorry, that I won't be able to find you now...I need to help Pikachu" Ash said holding his sick Pikachu closer sitting in one of the bed inside of the ferry

"And Y/N..." Solidad said coming closer to your ear "That rose looks good on you" She teased leaving you there blushing
"W-w-what-what..?" You asked touching the rose which was in your hair before taking your place

Flashback

"Best of luck" You turned around to see a green haired boy with a rose in his hand
"Drew....thank you"
"Just a reminder battle against Solidad will not be easy."
"I know.... I trained hard for the battle, and even if I lose, I won't regret this" You said smiling
"Even though your panicking, your still trying not to?"
"How do you-"
"It's obvious, everyone is not oblivious like you"
"Hey! I'm not oblivious-"
"Here" Drew stopped you in mid sentence and placed a rose in your hair
"A rose..?"
"Or what else do I give you?" He said going outside of the room leaving you there

End of flashback

"Start the battle!" Nurse Joy said as the timer started
"Alright! Go Butterfree and Lapras!"
"Go Swellow! Mightyena!"
"Butterfree! Start with string shot and then stunspore and Lapras! Ice beam!"
"Swellow! Gust to counter stunspore and Mightyena dodge and crunch!" (All the moves were used ✨magically✨cause it's a contest-)

With Ash

Pikachu just ran away from professor birch's lab and Ash was following him along with professor birch
'I really hope Pikachu just comes back to me fast...I don't want him to become even more sick...'

"Mightyena! Jump and spam crunch! Swellow! Use aerial ace!"
"Butterfree! Dodge that! Lapras! Mist!"

"Spe..."'ted" Spearow and Teddiursa said watching you battle from behind the curtains
"Y/N....only 3 minutes is left..." Arlo muttered getting scared
"Excuse me? Arlo?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, do you want anything?" Arlo turned around and replied to a green haired woman with glasses
"A call from Professor Birch's lab came, they want to talk to you"
"Alright, Spearow, Teddiursa, stay here, I'll be back soon" "Spearow! Ursa!"

"Hello? Is this Arlo?"
"Yea! It's me!"
"Well, Arlo, wanted to tell you that Ash Ketchum was here"
"Really?!"
"Yeah, his Pikachu is not in a great condition, and it just ran away so Ash and Professor Birch started to follow it, they might be back soon"
"Alright, thank you for informing, Y/N is currently in the final round of her contest, after the round is over we will try to go there as soon as possible"
"Alright then, hope she wins" Professor Birch's assistant said before hanging off the phone as Arlo rushed to the back stage once again to see everyone has only 30 more seconds as the crowd was getting excited more and more every second.
