Aether's POV
I felt my face grow hot when I realized Xiao was holding my hand. He began to move, slowly sitting up and taking a moment before opening his eyes.
I waved at him with my free hand and said, "Good morning." He jumped up from his spot on the floor and, to my dismay, released my hand. He quickly straightened himself before mumbling something about not being asleep.
He cleared his throat before speaking, "Your leg, how is it?" Once he'd reminded me I began to feel the pain again, like my leg was burning.
"Not much better than yesterday." I have commissions to do today so I'll have to ask Verr Goldet to summon a healer.
Xiao grabs his spear and turns to me, "Do not move, I shall be back." He disappears, leaving only a cold wind behind.
I laid back down, hoping to be taken quickly by sleep. It was slow but eventually my consciousness slipped away from me.

Authors Note: I'm so sorry this took so long to post! Its not even that long either 😭 I'm so sorry! I recently haven't been as into Genshin as I was when I started these. I promise this is not the end of this, I'll post a part 3 whenever I get an idea for it. And other one shots might happen, I'm not quite sure.
