Harry slept for a long time, draco sat by his side, he didn't leave, Fred left the bottle next to the nightstand.
when Harry woke up they were able to go home, Harry still had a bandage on his head
Harry and Draco walked home, Harry holding Draco's hand
When they finally arrived they saw Ron waiting outside the door with bags and boxes filling his hands
"What are you going here?" Draco asked with a slightly angry tone in his voice when he saw Ron
"I bought Harry some stuff to make up for ya know.."
He awkwardly laughed
"For what? Being a bitch? Being the reason he had to go to the hospital? Being a selfish brat? Ruining our lunch? Hm?"
"yes all of that! I'm so so sorry for all of that, I am so sorry you got hurt harry, I am so sorry you had to go to the hospital, I am so sorry for ruining everything"
"I forgive you"
Draco and Ron looked at Harry in shock
"How can you forgive him?!"
"he's my best friend!"
Harry let go of Draco's hand and ran to hug Ron
"thank you Harry" Ron hugged Harry tight
"I missed you"
Harry rested his head on Ron's chest as he hugged him tight
Draco rolled his eyes
"Come on you need a bath"
Ron smiled awkwardly
"Do you mind if I bring in all these gifts? It's a lot, it's from me fred George and my mum"
"I miss Molly!"
"you should come visit soon! we would be happy to have you stay with us"
"Well we have to go now thanks for stopping by."
Draco grabbed Harry by his shoulder and pulled him closer to him
"Go inside baby, I wanna talk with Ron for a moment"
"ok! Bye Ron!"
Ron bent down slightly
"Bye Harry!"
Harry went inside, leaving Draco and Ron alone
"what the fuck is wrong with you" Draco snarled
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean for any of that to happen! It was all an accident! It's just-"
"Just what?! Huh?! Are you jealous that Harry isn't following you around like a damn puppy?"
"N-no! It's just that me and him were so close a-and I haven't seen him all summer, and then I see him sitting on your lap cuddling with you"
Draco growled and grabbed Ron by the collar of his shirt
"Can you shut up already?! Harry and I will visit you next week, Friday at 8 pm, take it or leave it"
"T-that's fine!"
Draco pushed Ron away
"Now if you excuse me Harry needs a bath"
"What about the-"
Draco pulled his wand out and used a spell to put everything inside
"Harry will thank you for everything next week. Now leave" Draco angrily walked inside and slammed the door
Draco took a deep breath and called out for Harry
"Harry come on! It's time for your bath!"
Harry came out of his room smiling
"hi baby, are you ready for your bath"
Harry nodded and giggled
Draco picked Harry up and took him to the bath, He filled the bath with warm water and bubbles
"Ok baby I'm gonna undress you is that ok?"
Harry nodded and smiled
"Alright come on"
draco carefully put Harry in the bath and watch Harry play for about an hour , while Harry splashed and played with bubbles Draco couldn't help but think about what could have happened if he hadn't taken him to hospital
Harry let out a large laugh, causing Draco to immediately snap out of his own thoughts
Draco smiled softly as Harry pointed to his soaking wet shirt
"Hey you got me all wet!"
Harry giggled
"Come on baby, now both of us have to get changed and eat something"
Draco got Harry out of the bath and drained the water
Draco got Harry dressed and changed his shirt as well, they headed to the kitchen and Draco sat Harry down in a high chair
"What would you like to eat baby?"
"Apple slices!"
"Do you want something else with your apple slices?"
"nu-uh!"
Draco gave Harry his apple slices and ate left overs from yesterday morning
They ate in silence, draco read a book while he ate and Harry just ate,as they finished eating Harry started to get sleepy and Draco decided it was time for bed
Draco cleaned Harry's face and hands as well as his own and took him into his room, draco brought Harry to his nursery and laid him down in his crib he gave Harry his favorite stuffed animal
Gently caressing Harry's cheek he smiled softly as Harry closed his eyes, draco turned off the lights but right before he closed the door he heard
"I love you"
