Interview/Documentary of a cheap broke university student and a wealthy working adult living together.
"Hyung, give me money."
"How shameless can you be?!" Beomgyu groaned as he fished out his wallet and passed Taehyun some cash.
"Thanks! I will re...
Bidding goodbye to his fellow coworkers, Taehyun pushed open the glass door of the retail shop he was working at and gazed up at the gentle falling snow. Securing his bagpack on his shoulders, he stuffed his hands into his worn out coat and made his way towards the bus stop located in a remote area.
He expected the usual; arrive at the lonely bus stop and wait for the only bus to arrive. He planned to review his study materials after getting a nice warm shower... if warm water was even available in his run-down flat. But things didn't go as planned when he saw someone else at the bus stop. Dressed in an expensive grey suit, a man in his (Taehyun had guessed his age, assuming that the man was a working adult) mid twenties was sat on the waiting bench, intoxicated. Small snow flakes were trapped in his fluffy black hair and the first few button of his dress shirt had came undone with a tie loosely hanging around the collar. The man had his eyes closed, his long eyelashes resting prettily against his flushed skin. He was pretty and handsome. Very good looking. And Taehyun had felt his heart skipped a beat when he first saw the drunk man. But what was a drunk man doing here? In the middle of nowhere? Taehyun was pretty sure there was no bars or clubs nearby.
Taehyun had first ignored the handsome looking man, not wanting to involve himself in something that will only bring him trouble. But he wasn't heartless. He saw the drunk man shivering at the corner of his eye and Taehyun couldn't possibly leave him alone to freeze to death. He would feel too guilty about it if he did.
"Hey" he shook the stranger's shoulder, attempting to wake him up. When he got no response, he shook him harder and more violently. Taehyun wasn't the most patient and gentle person after all. "Wake up or you will die from hypothermia."
"Ugh... Who?" The man groaned as his eyes fluttered open. Taehyun's heart almost stopped when the man looked right into his own eyes. His voice was so much deeper than Taehyun had expected. He looked up at Taehyun through his long eyelashes, making him seem even more innocent than he already did with that fluffy curled black hair and smooth baby skin.
"A kid?" The inebriated man snorted. The snort alone destroyed all Taehyun's first impressions of the man. And calling him a kid? Yeah, Taehyun could feel that he wouldn't get along with this man. "Well, nice to meet you I guess?" the stranger slurred his words as he spoke and shut his eyes once again.
"Don't fall asleep here" Taehyun spoke in an irritated tone as he pinched the other man's arm.
"Ah-OW!" The grown man's eyes shot open. It seemed like inflicting pain on him was successful in waking him up. Taehyun felt accomplished... until his eyes soon closed again and he drifted back to sleep as if the pain was not enough to keep him awake.
"Are you fucking serious?!" Taehyun cried in disbelief as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. He most definitely did not want him to die out in the cold. But what should he do with a complete stranger?
Taehyun's eyes scanned the sleeping man from head to toe. Gosh, he must be freaking loaded. He knew the suit the older was wearing was expensive at first glance but after taking a closer look, Taehyun was pretty sure that it was a seasonal and limited suit. He recognised the tie pin as well. A Guccie tie pin that costs a whopping $400. What was a rich man doing here? Fuck that. Taehyun was going to take advantage of this opportunity no matter what. So he decided to do the most absurd thing he had ever done in his whole life (or at least that was what he believed); to take the stranger home.
"This better end up well or I'm stripping you naked and selling your damn clothes" Taehyun murmured before pulling the man forward so he could make him lean on his back before piggybacking him. The drunk man weighed as light as feather.
Taehyun had given his single bed to the man while he slept on the floor that night. When the stranger woke up the next morning...
"Hey, give me money" Taehyun stuck his hand out shamelessly. "For hospitality and protection."
"Oh. My wallet's not with me though."
The silver haired stared at the man like he had gone mad for a moment before bursting out in anger. "Are you being fucking serious right now?! Fuck, man! I literally saved your petty life!"
The older man flinched at the sudden outburst before scratching the back of his head sheepishly, "I will give you my contact info... let me pay you next time."
"How can I trust that you will pay me?!" Taehyun pulled his hair in exasperation.
"Look here, I will give you my phone number and address. You can try giving it a ring right now to check if I'm being honest, okay?I'm Beomgyu by the way."
And that was how Taehyun found himself standing before a condominium that was rumoured to have one of the most expensive units in the whole of South Korea, waiting to be picked up by this Beomgyu guy.
"And afterwards, my shitty landlord increased my rent so I decided to ask for Beomgyu hyung's help even though I barely knew a thing about him. But he's freaking loaded so it was worth a try. He offered to live with him for free. I really hit the jackpot. I really did. Beomgyu hyung's actually easy to trick. And very generous" Taehyun concluded. And of course he left out the parts where he felt attracted to the older throughout his whole narration. He definitely did not need Beomgyu and the rest of the world to know what he had initially thought of him. And no. He no longer felt that way about Beomgyu. Beomgyu no longer made his heart skip.
"He's shameless" Beomgyu whispers.
"Why is he still here?!" Taehyun groans with a frown on his face. "Anyways, yeah, I'm shameless and I admit it. It gets me to where I am now so it's all worth it."
