Chase wakes up from his bed and gets his breakfast. He puts on some jeans, shirt and jacket. Then picks up his backpack.
Chase: Bye, Mom
Mrs. Scott: Have Fun!!!
Chase walks to his new school.
When he enters the school hew find his locker and when he's done he closes it then bumps into a girl.
Girl: Ah!
Chase: Sorry, uhh...
Girl: Skye Hayes!
Chase: Hello, Skye Hayes. In what subject are you going first?
Skye: English
Chase: Same!
Skye: Okay, lets go.
Chase: (thoughts) She's beautiful.
Teacher: Welcome to class, my name is Otis I have given up on gold hunting and decided to teach. Why am I introducing myself when you know already? Because there is a new student today. Chase Scott come and introduce yourself?
Chase walks to the front of the class.
Chase: Hi I'm Chase I got wrongly accused in my last school.
Most of the class gasps among them is Marshall White.
Marshall: I need to cheer him up.
Chase sits down and fortunately, Skye sits in front of him.
Chase stares at her thinking how beautiful she is.
Chase hears something fading in.
Teacher Otis: Chase. Chase! CHASE! CHASE!!!
Chase: Huh? What?
Teacher Otis: Who were you staring at?
Chase: (blushing) N-n-no one!
Skye: (giggles)
Chase: (nervous laugh) hehe.
Teacher Otis: Anyway, what is the answer to question number 2 Chase?
After English...
Skye: Chase, I want to talk to you about something.
Chase: (getting nervous) What is it?
Skye: It seems like you h-
Chase: THINKINGTHATYOUCOULDBEAGREATFRIENDOKTHANKSBYE!!!
Skye: That was weird. (sees someone) Hey Everest!
Everest: Hey Skye!
Skye: Didn't think Chase is acting strange?
Everest: the new one? Nooooo waaaayy.
Skye: I know. what about you?
Everest: (getting nervous and blushing) I-I-I think I should go, and Marshall just right there I really gotta go bye see you!!!
Skye: I know that face when you look at Marshall!
Everest: No you don't!
Skye: Cmon please don't lie to me.
Everest: Fine, I like Marshall.
Meanwhile...
Chase was rummaging in his locker.
???: Chase Scott?
Chase: (bumps his head in the locker) Ouch! Who is it?
???: Hi, I'm Marshall White!
Chase: Hi, Marshall
Marshall: Can we be best friends? I can cheer you up from that expulsion!
Chase: I don't need cheering up but we can be best friends!
Marshall: I want to ask you something.
Chase: Don't... You... Dare...
Marshall: It's not what you think! It's can you keep a secret?
Chase: Sure! What is it?
Marshall: Have taken notice of this Husky?
Chase: Everest? Ohhh I know where this is going. (smirking)
Marshall: Okay, Okay you figured it out!
Chase: So you want me to help?
Marshall: Could you please give this note to her? (blushing) NOT NOW!
Chase: Then when?
Marshall: At the end of school. Keep it in your pocket.
Soon in math...
Marshall: Hey, when did you met Skye and how did you meet her?
Chase: This morning and I bumped into her.
Marshall: Ok.
In the end of the day after school...
Chase: Everest!
Everest: Chase?
Chase: Everest, Marshall got a note for you.
Everest: Yippee! What is it!
Chase put his hand in his pocket but it wasn't there.
Chase: Oh no. I dropped it.
Everest: Didn't you read it also? So you can tell just in case?
Chase: Sorry, No.
Everest: Aww.
Chase went home that day...
Mrs. Scott: How was 1st day of the new school?
Chase: A lot had happened, I made 2 friends already and I have a best friend.
Mrs. Scott: That is good to hear! Goodnight!
Chase: Goodnight, Mom!
Chase closes the door and lays down thinking about what the note from Marshall could have said and thinking about Skye. Then, he turns off the light and sleeps.
