just so you know, i'll put the time period in which each chapter takes place, just so you don't get confused! for example:

Post-Split

"So, Four-coulored team! You disappointed my own coulor last time by losing the contest. Shame!" The host named Four called out the team who were standing side by side, frowning. "Whichever team got the FEWEST votes will leave the show!"

"I thought it was whoever got the MOST votes!" Lollipop interrupted, stepping up. Where did she come from?

"Well, we're changing it up." Four explained.

"And why-" Before Lollipop could finish that thought, Four screeched her, making her fall to the ground unconscious.

"Four!" X said, who was spectating the elimination from a short distance away. "You promised me no more screeching!"

"Oh, right. Sorry, Lolli." Four patted Lollipop on the head a couple of times, but she remained unconscious.

"She's not waking up! Maybe she needs more patting?" Balloony suggested, where did he come from? Four took his word for it and gave Lollipop more head pats. She still didn't wake up.

"More comforting pats!" Balloony said, and Four started patting her faster and faster.

"MORE!"

They kept at it until a loud shattering sound could be heard.

And somewhere, that shattering noise overshadowed the sound of two screaming girls and a crab landing on the hard ground of the Pillary Ruins.

Well, at least maybe one or two people heard it.

"What was that?" Leafy questioned, looking around for the source of the noise. "Did you hear that?" Gelatin, who was next to her, shrugged. "I didn't hear anything."

"Hmm."

"Oh gee," Test Tube mumbled as she sat up, rubbing her head. "Hopefully I never have to do that again." She looked around. The scenery was one of a kind.

Purple mountain-like pillars, unnaturally short grass, and a cloudy, light pink sky.

Definitely one of a kind.

"Where are we?" She wondered, standing up. Lightbulb was on the ground, Baxter scuttling around by her.

"I don't know, but this spot is nice." The blonde commented, waving her arms around. It was then that Test Tube noticed that the sun was directly overhead, right above her and Lightbulb.

The green-haired girl looked to her left and saw the time machine and the back panel on the ground next to her.

"Oh, thank gosh!" She exclaimed in relief, and picked it up. It read an odd combination of numbers and symbols that even she couldn't understand.

Before she could decipher what it meant, she heard footsteps coming in their direction.

Four other people stopped right in front of her. One girl had short green hair with a couple of leaves tangled in, a boy next to her had green hair as well, but Test Tube could've sworn it looked a little see-through. Another girl who looked a bit shorter than the rest had curly red hair and was standing with her arms crossed. One more girl had her hands in her blue hoodie pockets, with long blue hair and bangs that were covering one eye.

"See, I knew I heard something!" The girl with the leaves in her hair boasted. Lightbulb shot up when she heard other voices.

"Wait, wha...oh, there you are, Baxter!" She reached for her crab and petted him.

The new strangers looked at them in confusion.

Test Tube realized that they had a lot of explaining to do.

"Hi! Uh, we were just leaving! We're not from around here." She said, gesturing towards Lightbulb.

"Wait, already? We just got here!" Lightbulb questioned. Test Tube gave her a glare that said 'Shhh, don't say anything.'

"Oh! That's okay! I'm Leafy, this is Gelatin, Ruby, and Teardrop." The girl named Leafy introduced each of her friends, pointing to each of them.

"I'm Test Tube, and that's Lightbulb. Now if you excuse us, we really need to get going." Test Tube said, frantically pressing buttons on the calculator. Nothing happened.

"Do you know how to get back?" Asked Leafy.

"Sure I do!" Test Tube insisted, continuously smacking buttons in hope to get somewhere. She knew that they (as in Leafy) were going to offer her help, and she didn't want that. They probably had other things to worry about.

"Where did you rascals go? We need to finish the elimination!"

Like that.

Elimination, huh?

"I think blue bro's mad, we'd better get going." Said the boy Leafy introduced as Gelatin. Everyone else nodded and hummed in agreement, except for Lightbulb and Test Tube, who really had no idea what was going on.

"You do not want to make Four mad," Ruby told them. And headed off with the rest of them. Test Tube and Lightbulb looked at each other and shrugged. They seemed to take her word for it.

"So do we go with them, or..." Test Tube trailed off. And as if Leafy heard her, she turned back around and called out to them, "You can come with us if you want!"

"They seem nice enough. Let's go, Testy!" Lightbulb responded, jumping to her feet and pulling Test Tube along with her.
