"And you are telling me this now?" Hasham exclaimed loudly but Saim quickly suppressed his voice with his palm on his mouth, looking around if any of the ladies had heard him.

He pulled himself away smacking hasham on his head for the latter to only growl at it. Saad plopped himself next to Hasham with a bowl of popcorn in his hand, already knowing what the on going conversation was.

"How come you didn't tell your best friend?" Saad mocked Hasham who groaned taking a handful of popcorn and handing it to Saim, making him grin, before taking a little more for himself.

"It's just that I didn't feel like letting anyone know but then when dad asked I couldn't stop myself from telling. So since they knew I told you too." Saim explained while Saad and Hasham nodded their head in understanding.

Since his family was having a get together, he had called Hasham and asked him to come early with his mother, who was suppose to help his mother in kitchen, to inform him about what was the reason behind his lost self.

He didn't knew but today he had been thinking about it just more than the rest of the days. He couldn't understand what was wrong with him but he was sure something wrong was happening and he couldn't figure it out.

He glanced inside the living area to find his father and Hasham's father, Ayan, engrossed talking about cricket but not leaving a chance to tease or mock each other. He smiled looking at them, and back to Hasham. Everyone had always told them, that their friendship was just like their fathers. They would mock, tease and even hit each other but whenever they would be in trouble, they had each other's back no matter what.

The door bell rang, and the boys looked at each other, waiting for the other to make a move but when the bell continued, Saad stood up harshly keeping the bowl of popcorn on Hasham making him scoff before walking to open the door, making Saim to smirk in victory but that was quickly wiped off by Hasham who tackled him onto the floor.

The two got into a fight, hitting onto each other when Saim noticed Rania rushing towards them making him push Hasham and engulf her in a hug which caused her to giggle.

"I missed you," She exclaimed and started playing with Saim's cheek while all he could do was grin at her. His bundle of happiness.

"Rania how many times have I told you not to run," Ruhana scolded her daughter coming into view followed by her parents, "Assalamualaikum mumani." Saim sang wriggling his eyebrows at her to only hear fits of laughter around the room while Ruhana groaned.

"That's like my man," Saahir said walking inside but groaned when his wife elbowed him making everyone to double in laughter.

"I'm your cousin sister," Ruhana said arguing for the nth number of time with her cousin for the same reason but when she saw his challenging eyes, she groaned walking inside to help Sara. Rumana too followed her, while Faizal moved towards Zaim and Ayan while Saahir walked towards Rania, pulling his daughter in the air making her giggle that instantly brought smiles on everyone's faces.

"Where is Saahil mamu?" Saad asked Saahir who now put Rania onto Saim's lap, kissing her cheek frequently.

"He'll be here any minute," He said making Saad to stand up and rush out startling the occupants of the room, "What happened?" Saahir asked alert while the rest just shrugged their shoulder but kept their focus on Saad who walked in heaving deeply.

"Kept the door open so that no one has to get up again." He said sitting down next to Hasham to receive weird looks from the three boys.

With passing time, every member of the Khan and Shaikh family now were present there except for the one family that had been missing onto the fun for years now. Checking his watch, Zaim grinned before pulling onto his phone gathering everyone to FaceTime the man he loved pulling his leg eventually with time.
