Maggie's P.O.V.

"Babe, kung ako sa 'yo, hindi na ako makikialam." Sabi sa akin ni Bernard, immediately after I told him ang suspetsa ni Mitch about Benj.

We are just about ready to go to sleep, matapos makatulog ang mga bata.

"Why not? Pinagtatakluban mo ba ang kaibigan mo?" Habang ipinupuwesto ko na ang sarili ko sa kaliwang bahagi ng kama.

"Of course not." Habang pumupuwesto naman siya sa kanan.

"Then, why don't you want me to help Mitch?"

"Because..." He already lied down on his back.

"Because what?"

"Because I don't want you to spoil what Benj has been preparing for Mitch for her birthday."

"Benj is what?"

"Come..." Tinapik niya ang unan ko, "humiga ka na." Sumunod naman ako bagama't nakatingin pa rin ako sa kanya. "Sasabihin ko sa 'yo, but only after you promise me that you will not tell Mitch anything."

"Then tell me..."

"He's actually planning a surprise for her."

"I don't understand. Sabi ni Mitch, may tumatawag daw na babaeng ka-opisina ni Benj sa bahay nila. Tapos madalas daw na umaalis si Benj kahit na disoras ng gabi, tapos—" Natatawa si Bernard which kind of odd. "What? Anong nakakatawa?"

"She's not a co-worker."

"Then who is she then?"

"It was actually, one of his sisters."

"What?"

"You heard me."

"But why would she do that?"

"That's part of the plan. And now you know about it already, you better keep quiet and help out."

Napangiti ako, not only because of the positive thing he told me, but also because of how handsome, hot and sexy my husband looks, wearing nothing but his skin and boxer's shorts right before my eyes.

"Pero bakit kailangang gawin ng sister niya 'yun? Of all people, hindi ba't sila dapat ang nakakaalam kung gaano ka-problematic ang relasiyon ng mag-asawang 'yun?"

"Or you look at it this way... how about, that is exactly why one of his sisters did it."

"Ang mamroblema ang hipag niya?"

Tumagilid si Bernard, tiningnan nito ako nang kakaiba while doing a really seductive tongue work over his lips. I suddenly felt my temperature rose, pero hindi ko naman ito ipinahalata. Hindi naman masamang magpakipot ng kaunti kahit mag-asawa na kayo di ba?

"I guess she's just trying to pull up the right strings..." Unti-unti nang gumagapang ang kanyang kamay sa aking binti. "According to the plan, para mas maging effective ang surpresa." He's starting to move closer to me. "Para mas intense..."His hands are crawling closer towards my undergarment. "Para mas memorable..." He bit his lower lip as he succeeded to slip his hand underneath my panties.
