You know waking up the next morning, I would have loved to say I woke up with a smile on my face but that's pretty hard to do when I'm being beaten with a pillow 
"Fuck" I growled sitting up to see Hunter, Eldon and West stood by my beside with their teenage grins on their faces
"morning sunshine" West yelling as the three of them jumped onto my bed
"What do you idiots want" I asked pushing them off of my legs

"Two things, firstly how was the date" Eldon asked, I rolled my eyes but the smile I wanted to wake up with, found it's way to my lips
"Yessss! We have a Jiley Comeback in progress" West said fist bumping the air

"And the second thing?" I asked
"Oh yeah, Emily says get your ass up. Piper just got here" Hunter laughed 
I pushed myself out of bed to head downstairs, the moment I got there I saw Emily in the kitchen watching something out of the window
"Morning" I said making her smile in my direction
"Hey love bug" she teased, that was the nickname Emily would always give me whenever I asked her for advice on a date with Riley

"Where is Pipes?" I asked Emily chuckled nodding out into the garden
I picked up my cup of coffee before joining Emily in her gaze
As I looked out into the garden, you could see Piper out there playing with both Riley and Olivia, Olivia was sat on Riley's lap, probably a little unsure of Piper
While Piper sat in front of them playing peekaboo 
"She's been there since we got here" A voice said behind me making me turn around

"Hey man" I said fist bumping Finn, I won't lie. When Piper first told me about Finn, I did not like him but over the years, he's grown on me
"Of course she has, there is a baby out there" I teased
"and the fact that Riley is there too" He chuckled
He made a valid point, Riley and Piper have always had their own little bond that nobody would ever be able to ignore

A little while later, Finn and I decided to join the girls with everyone else in tow 
"Looks like Piper has made a new friend" Steph said making Piper nodded frantically, it was just how she used to do when she was little
"Who isn't friends with Liv" Emily laughed making us all nod

Riley came and took a seat next to me with Olivia still cuddled up to her 
The moment they sat down, I wrapped an arm over Riley's shoulder making her smile at me but Olivia sat up looking at me with a pout
"What does that mean" i whispered to Riley who chuckled but Riley soon shrugged
"Livvy, what's wrong" Riley asked and Olivia looked back at Riley before looking at me again reaching up her arms

"What?" I asked Riley again
"she wants you to pick her up James" Emily laughed, I'm not good with this whole baby shit, that's for sure
"oh" I said picking her up and putting her on my lap
"now thats a first" Piper teased making me roll my eyes at her

"Piper is right though, Olivia doesn't like men" Emily said
"mmm it took Hunter what? 2 years to get her to like him?" Riley asked and Hunter nodded before smirking at me 
"Careful you don't get broody James" Stephanie said making me roll my eyes again
"He just needs to find himself a girlfriend then he can be as broody as he wants" Piper said poking her tongue out at me

"He has a girlfriend" Hunter said before making Piper widen her eyes before looking at me
"Sorry what? have I missed a chapter or two?" She asked before Riley coughed
"oh would you look at the time" She said looking at a watch she did not have

"I think Olivia needs a nap" She chuckled and I nodded before the both us got up 
"It doesn't take two people to put a child down for a nap!" Piper yelled after us but both Riley and I laughed as we continued to walk inside
