"Oh stop," Lucas snickers while he shakes his head from below me.

"Hey, you wear this thing all the damn time. It absolutely reeks Lucas."

"Whatever you say babe," he chuckles. "Wanna get down?" he asks, leaning his head back to look up me again.

"Yes please," I chuckle back with a slight nod.

"Okay," he nods back. "Hold on," he tells me before he squats and helps me off of his shoulders, trying to keep it as PG as possible. He doesn't let me step away though because he pulls me back against him to give me another kiss. He's a bit more forceful than the kiss we shared earlier now, his tongue pushing past my lips with more ease than I'd like to admit. His left hand raises to cradle the back of my head, keeping me in place which only earns us catcalls from all of our friends while I somehow manage to successfully hold back a moan from the possessiveness in his kiss.

"Get a room," Trey jokes, pulling us apart as if we both almost forgot where we were for a moment there.

"Fuck off," Lucas snaps back at his best friend, letting me bury my red face into his chest, my arms wrapping around his waist. "You okay?" he asks me quietly enough for only me to hear, kissing the top of my head to play it off as only that to anyone else.

"Mhm," I hum against him, pressing myself impossibly closer to him.

"Devils!" Coach Day yells, silence almost immediately following his shout and a whistle from one of the other coaches, more than likely Coach Simpson. "Locker room, now!" he adds once it's clear he has his players attention.

"I gotta go babe," Lucas tells me, gently unwrapping me from around him. "I'll see you in a bit."

"Okay," I smile, leaning up for a quick kiss.

"Good," he hums as his lips barely brush mine in return before he's rushing across the field with Brody, Trey and the rest of the team to get to the locker room.

"What the hell was that?!" Tessa questions.

"Shut up," I groan, running a hand through my hair, trying to smooth it out some since I know Lucas's helmet and hand messed it up.

"I'm a bit surprised," Aubrey teases.

"Stop it," I huff at her. I don't know what else to say, my normal defensiveness about how Lucas and I just acted not kicking in like I expected it too. I ignore their continued teasing with a slight shake of my head at their behavior and instead begin to make my own way across the field.

My friends and I made our way to the parking lot and once again, we gathered around the three football players' vehicles that they parked next to each other like they have done for all of the home games and shortly after, the three of them are heading towards us.

"Come here," Lucas says to me as he tightly wraps his arms around me to lift me up yet again, this time though he swings us around. He now has his letterman jacket zipped up basically all of the way so I don't know what underneath it and he's changed into his dark blue washed pair of mid-rise slim bootcut denim jeans and his normal go-to boots.
