Confrontation Version# 3

Purab saw his mother in the living room as he walked in.  He knew that Thapki was her mama's house since Sargum's miscarriage and the rest the family was sitting with his mother except Sagar and Haniska. He asked his mother  "Mom, where is Haniska?"

"She's in her room."

Purab called one of the servants, "Chandan, can you call Haniska down"

The servant went and called her down.

"Purab, you're home.  I thought you were going to be in the office the whole day."  smiled Haniska.

"Haniska, are we friends?"  asked Purab.

"Of course, best friends"  replied Haniska.

"Remember that I had told you that I really like Thapki.  Where you happy to hear that"

"Of course,  I am happy for you"  replied Haniska

"When will you stop lying?"  asked Purab

"What do you mean?"  asked Haniska

"Stop playing games Haniska."

"Purab!  Stop harrassing Haniska.  She is not your Thapki that she's causes issues everywhere she goes."  yelled Veena.

"Fine.  NOT one word Mom!  I will explain!"  said Purab.

"Point one:  who tricked Thapki into drinking alcohol.  Haniska.  You knew ahead of time in regards to the brides being exchanged as you had accepted money and a place in london for leaving the wedding.  You're accident was fake and so was your fight with your mother.  All the pen drives and cd issues were your doing.    You were also involved with the Rohit matter."

Everyone looked shocked at this revelation.

"What!"

"No, no, no.  I have not done anything."

"Let me continue.  Since you have come into my home, you have been playing your games.    New Years Eve, you were the reason my Thapki fell into the freezer.  She could have died!  Then we found out who was Thapki's father,  but you already knew that you were half-sisters.   You tried your best to defame her in the eyes of our family.    Then when puja was happening you got her kidnapped and tried to take her spot.  You tried take her sindoor.   And lastly, you were the reason for Sargum's miscarriage!"  yelled Purab

"How can you say that!!   Thapki must be blaming me for all this!  yelled Haniska nervously.

Purab then started to play a video from his phone.  It was a conversation between Haniska and Thapki

"I am leaving.    I hope to never to see you again."  said Thapki

"So glad Half-Sister!  After all my plans, finally the last one worked."  said Haniska

"How many plans did you have?"  asked a shocked Thapki

"Many, the first one was, I was the one that got you drunk before the wedding.  Then I blamed you for the wedding disaster when in reality I was the reason for the exchange.    Then I stole your voice, then i faked the accident, so I had a reason to come into this house.  Then everything that happened was because of me.    The pen drives,  the puja where Dadi got sick,  the CD where Veena Auntie's past came into the media that was all me, I paid the waiter at the event to spill something on Purab and then to exchange the signs so Purab would go into the womens washroom.  And the waiter, sent the media to the washroom to take pictures.   So the news would be all over.    And nobody gonna know it was me, not because you know but because who will believe you!"  smiled Haniska

"How could you?"  asked Thapki

"Whatever.    Do want to know the other plans before you leave!"  asked Haniska

"Yes!"  asked Thapki

"Well, New Years, I was the one that put a nail in your shoe, but Purab picked you up during your dance.    But you did fall in the freezer as per my plan.    Purab flopped my plan when he found you in the freezer.     I wanted you outed of the house, so I  brought Purab's promise in front of you and you still stayed!      Then I found out that Sargum was pregnant so I blackmailed you in giving up your sindoor but you still stayed.   But luckily the Sargum's miscarriage brought your truth.   And now the whole family is angry with you!  Who will believe you!    Nobody's is going to believe that I am the reason for all these issues.   Everyone believes that you are the bad omen!"  gloated Haniska.

"I will leave but one day the truth will come out!"  said Thapki

"It will be too late then.  I will be married to Purab by then.    And slowly, I will separate him from these emotional fools.  Then when truth does come out it will be too late"  said Haniska.

Purab turned off the video looked towards a pale Haniska. 

"What do you have to say for yourself."  asked Purab.

"Where, where did you get that!"  stammered Haniska

"Wow!  Now you are stammering like Thapki"  asked Purab

The rest of the family quietly watched.

"Actually, Haniska, I was the one to record you.  After all, if you can do it, why can't I.    When Bhabi left to go Mamaji's house, I was in the house.   I started recording when I realize what the conversation was.   Then I sent it to Bhai, who then went to visit Bhabi.    You know what,  I have never met such a disgusting person!   The person that helped you, you tried to destroy!  Hell, she is your sister!"

"She is not my sister!  She is the reason for all this!!"  yelled Haniska

"Actually, you are the reason for all this!  And now leave!   Because we were friends, I am letting you off lightly.   If I see you again, I will call the police!" yelled Purab

"Mom, you always hated Thapki because of her stammer.   You called her a black omen etc.  But the reason was your Haniska.  Thapki had a stammer but not an evil heart whereas Haniska had no stammer but has an evil heart.  You were so happy that your mentor had blessed her but in reality, the blessing should have been Thapki's.    As for Sargum's pregnancy, she tried to protect this family from Haniska but you got used to blaming her everything, you never saw her innocence and goodness.    I was ready to leave this house with Thapki but she made me promise to stay with the family."

Veena looked shocked.

"Yes Mom, Thapki may have left this house, but I refused to let her leave me."

"Purab beta, please go bring our bahu home."  said a tearfully Dadi
