6:15 a.m.

                             Beyoncé's POV

I woke up in the guest bedroom. I meant to go home last night but it was late, I was tired, and Onika insisted it would be no trouble for me to sleep here. I was sitting on the edge of the bed daydreaming of the kiss I received from her. Although it was short and sweet, it was meaningful to me. When our lips parted ways, she apologized when she saw the look on my face. I wasn't dissatisfied, just shocked. After thinking about it, I traveled into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I didn't have any extra clothes so I decided to just take a shower when I got home. It was around 7 a.m. when I finished and I heard Onika in the kitchen. I walked passed her and sat down at the island table.

"Good morning house guest. I'm making something to eat, would you like some?"

Why is she being weird but nice?

"Yes owner of the house, I would love something to eat"

"Man let me stop fooling around. I'm making a small Trinidadian breakfast."

"Why would you be making that?"

"Beyoncé, I'm Trinidadian" Onika said with a blank face.

"Ohhhhh, I just thought you were from New York because of your accent. I didn't know you were an island girl."

"Yeah, I'm originally from the islands but I grew up in New York. The food is almost done, could you grab two plates and two glasses" she said as she pointed to the glass cabinet closest to Beyoncé.

I did as she asked me to. She fixed our plates and wow was all I could say. We ate our food and conversated a bit but we never talked about the kiss. After we finished eating, I helped her clean up and got my stuff ready so I could leave.

"It was nice having you here Knowles, I hope you enjoyed yourself. Don't forget we have to go in at noon today to finally crack down this case."

"It was nice being here Maraj and I didn't forget. I'll probably be there a little earlier to help set things up. See you soon"

We gave each other small looks and with that, I left.

Orlando Police Department
11:20 a.m.

                            Beyoncé POV

I was in the meeting room getting ready to call in every officer on this case. Onika texted me saying she'll be here by 11:30. Officers started to fill into the meeting room and as they were filling in, I peeped Maraj coming through the room doors as well. She said her hi's and hello's to a few officers before making her way over to me.

"Wassup Knowles, you ready to end this?"

"Hell yeah I am. Have you seen Chris?"

"Oh yeah he got fired. I made a complaint about harassment and other girls spoke up about it and boom he was dealt with"

When did she even have to time to do that?

"I'm glad you did it. He was weird from day one. Well since he isn't here, you ready to get this started?"

"Yes, I have everything I need to instruct them on what's gonna go down."

"Alright then let's get started"

She went up to the stand and told everyone to settle down so she could begin. I followed her up to the stand and took a seat behind her.

"Good morning well afternoon to everyone. This informative session will be short and simple. We will be taking down the infamous drug lord, Mr, Harris. He has caused hell to the city and it's time he goes down. We will be divided into four sections: team A, led by me, team B, led by Knowles, team C, led by Chief, and team D, led by...you" she said as she pointed to Smith, a phenomenal detective. She then continued, "Team A, we are focused on locating Mr. Harris. If you don't know how he looks, this is how he looks" as she broadcasted a picture of him on the screen, "he is known to be dangerous so be careful. Team B, you'll be focused on Mr. Harris as well but more focused on the people he's surrounded with. Team C, you are to secure ANY evidence you come in contact with and Team D, you will help with whatever your lead detective assigns you to help with. You have all already been assigned to your team. We will be leaving at around 4, so you have plenty of time to prepare in any way that's beneficial to you. As of know, meet with your team leader so they can further discuss anything with you. Oh, I would also like to thank Detective Knowles for helping me with this case. It is truly an honor to be paired up with such a fine, personality wise, individual."
