Positively exhausted

He all but collapsed onto the bed, exhaustion given a solid form. It was late - or should he say early? - and the only thing he now longed for was sleep. Peaceful, thoughtless, wonderful sleep.

From attempts to boycott the Royal wedding to the arrival of guests - many of whom his own friends - to a rather public assassination attempt and back to the party -- Will had been up for most of the past week. He was barely awake as he exchanged his royal uniform for his pj's, dropped his knives off on the nightstand, rolled under the covers.

But it didn't matter. His friends were married, he was engaged. The Kingdom and the Royal Family had been saved, the important guests had been seen to and cared for - oh, and had he mentioned that Alyss wanted to spend the rest of her life with him?

A yawn escaped and he closed his eyes. But before he let himself fall asleep, a wide smile spread over his face.

Yeah, he was tired, very tired, but only because everything else was good. Very good.
