Part 3/3 of Sick Twisted Fairytale

Leilani finally decided that it was time to look, only to see that she was dancing with Alex Jones. Her eyes widened, giving Lexi a, "holy shit," look. Even years later, anyone who'd ever come into contact with Alex, only ever had negative things to say about him. Also, his obvious obsessive desire to get Lei's attention had done nothing but grow since they'd met. She would constantly block all his accounts. Yet, the next day, she'd get a follow from 'user93843745,' a new burner account made by Alex. What a coincidence it would be when user 93843745 had a message sitting in her requests. It was always creepy too, variations of "Why'd u block me?" followed by a sad emoticon. Sometimes the message would be passively threatening:

You are so stuck up. Blocking the only person who'd ever truly love you. You are going to regret this one day.

Fez always told Leilani that if he ever saw Alex Jones, he'd kill him. The boy looked so different now though compared to the last picture that Leilani had shown him. Fezco had yet to realize that he'd been Alex's dealer for almost a year and a half now.

Alex was pressing harder onto Leilani as he danced, she felt frozen in fear. Suddenly the room was too crowded, too small, too loud. Her fear began to slowly manifest itself into anger & frankly, she didn't have the urge to whip out a coping skill. He had always been disgusting to her & right now, Lei could feel his boner pushing against her. A customer had just approached Fez. He contemplated taking his eyes off Leilani for a quick second but decided against it. The blue-eyed ginger redirected the customer to where Ashtray was, never taking his eyes off of Lei. Alex Jones had now placed his hands on each side of Leilani's hips. It was obvious to anyone who was paying attention that she was uncomfortable. She'd stopped dancing, her smile & carefree attitude disappeared.

"Fucking stop, Alex." Leilani's voice cracked as she spoke, holding back immense tears. She'd now moved out of his grip & turned to face him. Whenever she got so mad that she cried, it was definitely a sign that she should use a coping skill. Lei didn't want to, though. She wanted Alex to know that he was a piece of shit human being.

"No," She was taken aback, her anger transforming into rage. The Jone's boy reached out his hand & gripped Leilani's arm. She let out a cry in pain, ripping her arm out of his hand. Fez had seen enough now. Sending a text to Ash telling him to start the car, he quickly pulled his sweater off & placed it on the couch before forcing his way through the crowds of people.

"You don't feel our connection right now?" Alex's tone & rising aggression insinuated that if she didn't give him the answer he wanted, he'd do something bad. The party was illuminated by red led lights. However, it wasn't the lights that made his eyes glow red. Leilani noticed that he was growing angry, hungry, even more desperate for her. She'd taken that as a challenge.

"What I feel is that you're a fucking weirdo," There was venom laced profoundly in the words she spat, feeling every syllable resonate with her anger, "Tell me, between us, does your narcotics officer dad know that you have cocaine dancing in between your overgrown nose hairs right now?" Jone's balled up his fists, but Leilani didn't notice. She did catch the twitch in his eye though. Mission accomplished.

"Yeah, you can't say much in the father department," Mission not accomplished. When she opened her mouth, Fez appeared right next to her. He stepped in front of her & used his hand to move her behind him.

"You shouldn't be saying much of anything. Ever." Her last words to Alex that night. Fezco turned his gaze from him to Leilani while she spoke then back to him.
"Why you acting all hostile wit her right now?" Lei's last words of the night to Alex were on the offense but Fezco's first words to Alex were on the defense.

She couldn't help but notice the shine of his chain. It would sparkle as it sat above his white tee. When she'd spoken earlier & he turned his eyes to hers, they weren't telling the same story anymore. Leilani could see them darken with anger. Everyone was feeling anger. He wasn't mad at her; he was pissed that the boy in front of him was disrespecting his friend.

"Fez bruh chill out," He tried to raise his hands as a sign of backing down but Fez wasn't accepting it.

THEY KNOW EACH OTHER? Lei's blood ran cold. After everything I've told him about Alex??????????? She put her hand on his shoulder & pulled him slightly back,

"Fezco. You're on a first name basis with Alex Jones?"

"Alex Jones?" He knew he'd recognized the boy, but all he knew was that the boy was just a customer whom he'd sell coke to.
"Alex fucking Jones."

"Him?" He asked, flashing a menacing smile & she didn't even get a chance to respond before Fezco's knuckles connected with the boy's jaw. It felt as if the whole dance floor had formed a circle around the three. When Leilani looked around, she saw nothing but phones shoved in her personal space. Nobody ran to Alex's defense, seeing as though he'd been socially blacklisted since the moment he was brought into this earth. Unruly kid with lack of discipline grew up to be even more unruly & aggressive + he was a drug addict now.

Alex Jones was bloody & unconscious, but Fezco didn't stop. Leilani was happy that he'd gotten what was coming to him, but she knew that if Fez kept going, blinded by a dangerous mix of rage & adrenaline, he'd kill the boy in front of all these people. Her hands wrapped around his shoulder to pull him off of Alex but Fez pulled an arm back and pushed her to the ground. A sharp pain shot into her wrists as they caught her fall on the hardwood floor.

"Fez!" She yelled, not getting up. Leilani didn't fall hard enough to get truly hurt; she knew she could stand just fine. But she didn't think that Fez noticed who he pushed. So, she stayed on the ground, yelling his name until he froze. He stopped hitting Alex & kept his arm cocked back as he turned to see Lei. She was right, he didn't realize that she was the one he pushed. It made him climb off of Alex and go help her up.

"I'm sorry, ma. Are you okay?" His bloody fingers wrapped around her wrist as she gave him a nod, reassuring him that she was fine. When she was off the ground, she intertwined her fingers with his & he pulled her out of the party.

Ashtray had already started the car & he was impatiently waiting for the two to arrive. Neither Fez nor Leilani had broken their BFF promise that night. Both had fun, whether it was playing bartender or beating someone unconscious. Both were safe... enough. Neither left with anyone else but each other. The car ride home was silent. Ash agreed to sit in the back while Leilani rode shotgun & Fezco drove. Seeing him violently attack Alex had given her that stomach feeling again, with more lust than she'd felt before the party. She looked over at him driving, his eyes hadn't lightened up yet. That told her that he was still angry. His right hand wasn't on the steering wheel, it was sitting on the middle console. Her fingers were soft & on the contrast his were always calloused. She pestered him to moisturize but he would always say, "I will." & Never did. The feeling of her hand touching his whilst he drove gave him the same stomach feeling that she felt. Fezco took her hand in his & rubbed it comfortingly with his thumb. While at a red light, Lei crossed her legs again, this time she looked at him while she did it. He noticed, just as he did last time. She wasn't backing down this time. She wanted him. Scared to make her uncomfortable, he simply looked her up & down & she could tell he wanted her too. Lei took things into her own hands. She moved his hand onto her thigh, placing hers on top of his. A small smile appeared on his face & instinctively one appeared on hers too.

"Thank you for protecting me today."

"I'd do anything for you, angel."
