"What?" Rosa asked as Rebekah stared at her

"What?" Rosa asked as Rebekah stared at her.

She shrugged and sat in the chair opposite Rosa. "Where's your little wolf friend?" She asked.

"Um, I think she's in town or something. Searching for family stuff and whatever." Rosa answered while eyeing Rebekah curiously. "Why, do you need her?" She asked.

Rebekah sighed, "No. Just curious."

"Okay then." Rosa said, getting out of her seat and walking to another room.

She stopped when she saw Elijah and Klaus both reading while a woman laid dead on their table. Rebekah soon followed and stopped to stare at the same thing before quickly moving on.

"Do I want to know?" Rosa asked, still standing in the doorway.

Klaus looked up at Rosa and smiled. The girl sighed and sat down next to Klaus, watching him confused.

Rebekah was less subtle when interrogating. "So, this is what you do the first time we're back together as a family? Vampire book club?" She asked.

"Reading edifies the mind, sister. Isn't that right, Elijah?" Klaus said, his eyes not leaving the book.

"Yes, that's quite right, Niklaus."

Rebekah then walked closer to the body on the table, "And what's this business?"

Rosa watched Elijah as he came up with the right words. "This is a...peace offering." He states.

Rosa then sighs as she looks at Klaus. "I presumed, after so much time desiccating in a coffin, that my big brother might be a bit peckish."

"And I explained to my little brother that forgiveness cannot be bought. I'd simply prefer to see a change in behavior that indicates contrition and personal growth." Elijah states, clearly annoyed. Klaus rolls his eyes while Elijah stares at the girl on the table, "This is nonsense."

Klaus rolled his eyes, "Well, I couldn't very well let her go to waste, could I?"

Rebekah sighed as she stood up angrily, "Well, I suppose I'll go fetch the rubbish bin, because she's staining a two-hundred-year-old carpet."

Rosa smirked as Elijah looked up at the body, "Ah, yes." He said calmly.

"God,
you guys are weird." She muttered to herself while pulling her feet up onto the couch and leaning into Klaus.

He looked at her, a smile on his face. Elijah took that as his cue to leave. Plus they could all hear the noise Hayley was making, digging around for things in the kitchen.

"How are you?" He asked.

Rosa shrugged, "I feel fat."

Klaus looked at Rosa again and rolled his eyes, "You look perfectly fine." He said.
