Who Are The Family Madrigal?

I quickly skipped down stairs and found Mariano and my mom in the kitchen. I walked over to my mom. "Hola mama." I said as I kissed my mother on the cheek. I then grabbed an apple and bit down on it. "Y/n could you please go to the bakery and pick me up my bread for me por favor." My mother asked. "Of course, mama." I said gleefully. "Have Mariano go with you!" She called out to me.

"Mama I'm 15! I can go by myself!" I said to her. I saw her whisper to my brother. I knew she was going to make him follow me. I playfully rolled my eyes and walked right out the door into the bright sunlight.

As I walked down the town I could hear people riled up. I walked over to see what was happening. I turn the corner to see many people walking down the street. Everyone stared at them in awe. One of the girls in the group had brown, short and curly hair. She had green glasses and a beautiful white and turquoise dress with butterflies and patterns on it. She sang:

"Welcome to the family Madrigal!
The home of the family Madrigal!
We're on our way!
Where all the people are fantastical and magical!
I'm part of the family Madrigal!"

My heart raced and my face lit up with excitement. It was them! The Madrigals! I couldn't have been more excited! Well, maybe not cause there were three little kids standing right in front of me praising them and asking questions to the girl that had sang. She was a Madrigal!

"My tía Pepa, her mood affects the weather!
When she's unhappy, well, the temperature gets weird.
My tío Bruno, he see's the future, he'll read your prophecy and tell you what you need to hear!
Oh! And that's my mom Julieta, here's her deal.
Whoa! The truth is she can heal you with a meal.
Whoa! Her recipes are remedies for real.
If you're impressed, imagine how I feel!"

"Woah...!" I said in awe. They were amazing! I never knew how cool their gifts were! Heck! I didn't even know what their gifts were!

"Welcome to the family Madrigal!
The home of the family Madrigal!
Hey, coming through!
I know it sounds a bit fantastical and magical,
But I'm part the family Madrigal!"

I continued to follow the girl and hear more about the Madrigals!

"Two guys fell in love with family Madrigal
And now they're part of the family Madrigal
So, yeah, Tío Félix married Pepa
And my dad married Julieta
That's how Abuela became an abuela Madrigal"

The kids of Pepa and Julieta jumped out of nowhere and surprised me at the amount of kids there were! The Madrigals were a beautiful family! Señora Madrigal was right there! Alma Madrigal sang:

"We swear to always help those around us
And earn the miracle that somehow found us
The town keeps growing, the world keeps turning
But work and dedication will keep the miracle burning
And each new generation must keep the miracle burning"

I was so blessed to see and hear Alma Madrigal. I was grateful for her and everything she has done. This was making me even more anxious to learn more! The girl singing originally sang:

"So many kids in our house!
So, let's turn the sound up!
You know why? I think it's time for a grandkid round-up!
Cousin Dolores can hear a pin drop!
Camilo shape shifts, Antonio gets his gift today!
My older sisters, Isabela and Luisa!"

I loved their powers! They all seemed so cool! However I gasped when I saw Isabela. It was Isabela! I've been waiting to see her!

"One strong, one graceful
Perfect in every way.
grows a flower and the town goes wild

I looked on the other side of where I was standing and I saw Mariano staring at Isabela. I laughed. He followed her as if he was enchanted by her. Which I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

I was pretty much satisfied but apparently to the kids that were in shock when they saw the Madrigals in the first place, weren't. They yelled for the girl to tell them her own power. She laughed nervously and continued:

"Well, I gotta go, the life of a Madrigal (whoa)
But now you all know the family Madrigal (whoa)
I never meant this to get autobiographical (whoa)
So just to review the family Madrigal

So her name was Mirabel! I was ready to hear this recap.

"It starts with Abuela, and then Tía Pepa, she handles the weather

I giggled at how funny and joyful Camilo was.

"My cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus a mile away (Mirabel)"

"Woah!" I said impressed by Dolores's power.

"Look, it's Mr. Mariano!"

I bursted out laughing. Mirabel knew my brother and she knows that he crushes on Isabela. She was totally calling him out!

"hey, you can marry my sister if you wanna (Mirabel)
Between you and me, she's kind of a prima donna
Yo, I've said too much and thank you but I really gotta go (Mirabel)"

Oh...I hope that's not true about Isabela.

"Mirabel?!" Alma called out to Mirabel. That knocked me out of my amazement and I realized I was standing in front of the casa de los Madrigals. I stared up at it, taking in the beautiful house. I smiled and felt myself getting excited. I was going to be able to visit here tonight! There is going to be a ceremony for Antonio Madrigal and he would receive his gift. There is going to be a big celebration! I cant wait!

That's when I realized that my brother was right behind me staring up at Isabela in her house. I giggled and grabbed Mariano's hand. "Come on hermano." I said dragging him away with a smile plastered on my face.
