POV: you're a security guard/assistant in the daycare, you help the two human owners of it (my friend wouldn't stop complaining abt making them human smh)
It was the last shift of the week and i was pretty exhausted, don't get me wrong, hanging out with the cheerful sun and the angsty moon was fun, but being around all those kids does get tiring, on top of that, moon flirts with me 24/7 but sun comes to my help anytime he does, lecturing him to not harass me, I think they were brothers but I'm not sure, they were super close, but not in a friend way, they would tease each other and poke fun at one another, so I assumed that they were siblings
But this entire week sun has been pretty distant, avoiding eye contact or coming near me, this just made moon worse, it felt like he only flirted with me when Sun was around, maybe because he knew sun wouldn't do anything and wanted to tease me? I don't know
I sighed as gathered up all the glitter glue that was left in storage to bring it out, the storage room was more of a big closet, the side walls were covered with shelves that contained boxes, and at the back wall was a table, with one of those chairs with wheels next to it. I moved the door over with my hip, not being able to move it with my hands since they were occupied with the box, he hasn't talked to me once this whole week and the first thing he does say is ask if I can get glitter glue
I walked over to him, he was sitting in a circle with a bunch of other children
"How many bottles do you need?"
He doesn't bother to look at me, he just continues to talk to the children and put four of his fingers up, I just nodded, not wanted to start a fight near the children. I took out four bottles of the glue and handed it to the kids while talking to them, which seemed to upset Sun that I was getting more of the attention
I lost track of time while talking to them, since I was holding the box while escorting them all out of the day care and to their parents. I smiled and waved to them, and once they were all gone, I sighed and went back into the daycare, turning off a few lights on my way there, knowing the two men probably left already, they normally speed out pretty quickly so I get left behind to clean
I gathered anything left on the ground and placed it in the box so it's be easier to get it all back to the storage room
But once I got to the door, I noticed it was a bit open
'Crap, I probably forgot to close the door'
I sighed as I used my foot to move it far enough that I could get it, the lights were off, but there was an outline of a figure, standing right in front of the table "huh?" I elbowed the light switch only to see it was sun
"Oh! Hello Sun"
I awkwardly greeted him as I started to place everything away, he just looked down and fidgeted with his hands, once I finished putting everything away, I sighed and looked at him
"Do you need something?"
He took a deep breath in before speaking up
"I need to uh, talk to you about this week"
I furrowed my eyebrows as I listened to his explanation
"I...the reason I have been distant is uh"
He was hesitant to continue
"I've gotten a strange feeling for you, and I don't know how to handle it.."
"Sun, I'm sorry but you have to be more specific"
He sighed
"Fine fine, I...."
