3) You are being interviewed. Describe the surroundings, the people conducting the interview, and your thoughts and feelings as it progresses. Write about 350-450 words.

I stepped into the room as a cool breeze from the air-conditioning hit my face, blanching my cheeks. My navy-blue blazer was weighing down on me like a fifty-pound dumble, and my tight collar strangled my neck. I hid my nervousness behind an elegant smile and gently sat on the white Windsor chair placed in front of me. The solemn interviewers made strict eye contact with me as if awaiting my tears to gush down like a river. There were four of them, two males and two females, all dressed in black suits and trousers. Behind them was a great panoramic view of skyscrapers, billboards, and city lights, giving off an essence of urban lifestyle. The anchor-grey walls had mesmerizing abstract paintings nailed on them. On my left hung antique clocks from five different time zones.

As each interviewer questioned me, I gently tapped my polished derby shoes on the fuzzy carpet to calm myself down. I could feel the sense of adventure woven into my nervousness as if this is my first sure-footing upon a great rock climb. The emptiness of the room and its simple minimalist vibe had the feeling of a fresh new page, awaiting the words my soul needs to write. All the interviewers sat on pewter-grey leather desk chairs, rolling a few inches to the right or left as they looked around. Every question asked gave me goosebumps, despite it being obvious to me. I had lumps in my throat that I struggled to swallow! They all took turns while interrogating me, and each question fell into a specific category.

The first interviewer had blonde hair and constantly fidgetted around with bundles of papers kept on the white table in front of him. He asked several questions regarding my passion for my occupation and seemed quite friendly compared to the others. The second interviewer asked me questions regarding my personal life and financing. She seemed pretty exhausted and kept on sipping coffee from her 'Interviews are My Jam' mug. The third interviewer had a glass of water, a handy mirror, and a makeup pouch on her table. She constantly kept on fixing the strands of hair popping out of her neat bun and was there to judge my attire. She suggested I tie my hair in a ponytail or a braid instead of letting it down. My heart probably skipped a few beats when she said that! The last interviewer asked logical questions. He was wearing black spectacles, and his soar eyes were surrounded by dark circles. He kept on typing information on his rose-gold laptop. Every word of mine echoed in the room, which made chills run down my spine. Despite the agitations, I remained strong and responded confidently!
