Dylan's POV
I had just gotten off work it was exhausting working at a hospital Reese was probably asleep so I got in my Chevy and drove home and today this little girl called Jasmine died I had worked with her for 2.5 years
When I got home Reese was asleep on the couch in my hoodie with just boxers on I saw the ring still on his finger recently I proposed to him he was so happy I got changed into some shorts and a hoodie he woke up "hi babe" "hey baby" I kissed his forehead and sat crossed legged next to him "how was work?" "It was ok I guess Jasmine died" he hugged me "oh babe I'm sorry" "It's ok" I pulled him into my lap he smiled up at me we then heard a knock at the door so I got up and opened it it was Lois and Hal "hey you two" they both hugged me Reese got up and ran to the bedroom to get changed so we 3 started chatting until Reese came in his parents only wanted to congratulate us
Reese sat on my lap which I didn't mind he was the cutest he leaned against me after a while Lois and Hal left but after a couple of minutes later they left Reese just leaned into me even more he was still sleepy so I carried him over to the bed and laid him down "can we cuddle" "of course baby" I laid down he immediately curled up into my chest "I love you" "I love you too baby" we hardly ever used the word love I guess it's because we didn't want to over use it
