I walked into our bedroom I kissed Hal's cheek he smiled at me but turned my face kissing my lips I heard the front door bell go off Hal wasn't fully dressed "I'll get it" I walked to the front door and opened it it was my boss Taylor "hi sir come on in so here are the rules: •No sugar for Dewey •They all have to have baths/showers •Dewey's bedtime is 9:30 •Malcolm & Reese bedtime 10:30 •no fire I think that's about it" "ok well you two go have fun and here" he passed me the box which had the engagement ring yes I was proposing Malcolm saw and dragged me away "what was in that box father" "an engagement ring I'm proposing" "wait what seriously" I nodded he jumped up I caught him "well Malcolm I've gotta go ok" he nodded and hugged me I hugged back and kissed his forehead while me and Hal where walking out the door I shouted back to the boys "be good" I drove us too the restaurant with my hand on Hal's thigh he was smiling when we got there I kissed his cheek I got out and ran to his side of the car and helped him out we walked to our seats after we ordered and ate I got on one knee "Hal Wilkerson ever since I met you I knew I'd fall in love with you baby I love you I always have and always will I will protect you care for you love you be a shoulder to cry on your my love of my love so will you make me the happiest man of my life and marry me" he gasped "yes of course" I put the ring on his finger and got up I kissed him he kissed back I was so happy
