"Fine. And thanks anyway."
He curled his hand around her waist. "You're welcome."
"What are we going to do about the dress after the wedding?"
"Well... I don't know." He answered.
"You see? We can't just hang it in the wardrobe after the wedding."
"We will think of something... Maybe sell it."
"Maybe or I make something out of it." She suggested.
"Won't that kind of destroy the material?"
"In a kind of way, yeah. But..." She paused. "Let's just forget about that for now." She waved it off. The thought of it was becoming a headache.
"Great decision." He said gladly. He kissed her cheek. "Eat with me before you go."
"Okay. But I have to leave after. I have a shop to run."
"I know."
"When will the gown arrive?"
Demilade smirked before answering. "Next month."
"I can't wait." She muttered and Demilade chuckled.

The memories brought a broad smile to her face. She couldn't help it. Thinking it was too expensive for a day event but since it arrived, she couldn't take her eyes off it. Ever since she started sowing, she had never laid eyes on the material so beautiful and delicate. It was wonderfully sown and the design was awesome. And deep down she was glad that Demilade didn't listen to her.
He was right because the dress was so beautiful.
It was more than a dream wedding gown.
The loud music from a music player made her turn around and she saw Ada and another of her friend dancing their way into the room, already dressed.
Her face curled into a broad smile and then she chuckled.
She danced toward her and she pulled her along to dance with her. And she did. She began to dance to the beat of the music as Yinka Ayefele's 'Wedding Party' played from the MP that Sameeha dropped on the bed. They danced and squealed together until the music suddenly stopped.
They turned their attention to the two ladies glaring at them.
"Do you want her to stress herself out before the reception?" Karimat asked Ada, frowning down at her.
Ada laughed. "Karri, chill. We were just dancing."
"Yes, she is right." Lola agreed. "That was fun."
"I made a video of it. It's good." Someone said. It was a friend of Karimat. They smiled gratefully at her while Ada told her to send it to her.
"Well, that's enough." Ibukun's sister, Remi said as she dropped the music player on the bed. "You need to dress."
"Mrs. Ninalowo, are you ready to put on your dress?" Karimat asked. Lola could hear the excitement in her voice. It was then she noticed the dresses on her friends.
Ada, Karimat, her other friend Sameeha and Ibukun's sister Remi were in the same wine color bridesmaids' dress. They also looked so good in their makeup and clothes. And she couldn't be more proud to have them.
They had stood with her through everything. They kept her company, advised her, and made her happy throughout the one week that everything happened.
"I think so. The service will begin soon." She smiled at them.
