She dropped the phone on the table with the flash drive after watching whatever was in the drive. She exhaled loudly and looked up at Bayo who was staring down at his intertwined fingers.

"I-It wasn't that..." She stuttered. "that I didn't believe you... or Demilade. It is just... this is my friend that we are talking about. She was hurt a lot in the past and considering how much she love Demilade, it was hard to accept the fact that he might had cheat on her. She was truly hurt. She hadn't been herself since that day." Ibukun admitted. "But this is... a big shot. It could go a long way. You should have sent this earlier."

Bayo just shrugged then he sighed with relief. He was actually right that she knew where Lola was and how she was doing which was a huge relief.

"Is she okay?" He couldn't help but ask.

Ibukun glanced at him. There was no need to lie anymore. So, she shook her head.

"Not really. It was really bad before. But she is... preferable now. Quite better."

Bayo heaved heavily and said. "I understand what she is feeling. And no one will blame her for her insecurities. Moreover, she had talked with Demilade about this particular issue before it happened. And I apologize on behalf of my friend for ignoring that." Ibukun shook her head again, shifting on her seat. "So will you tell us where she is?"

"I don't have any reason not to anymore. I know I am supposed to meet with her and ask for her permission. But I don't think she will be so mad if I decide to tell you without her knowing. It would even be best if it comes as a surprise."

"Do you have a plan?" Bayo asked.

She nodded. "Not really. But here is what I suggest we do." Bayo leaned closer to hear what she have to say.

The door to the living room creaked open and that woke Lola from her reverie. She turned in the direction of the door and watched her friend walk into the room lazily. Her hair extension was in a different direction probably from the wind blowing outside and she did not attempt to smoothen it.

She dropped her small white handbag and a shopping nylon on the wooden table at the center of the room.

"Babe, wassup?" She asked her friend that was just staring at her with her dull red eyes.

Lola murmured a reply and turned her attention away from her friend. Ibukun fell into the seat beside her, taking off her leather jacket.

"You are still in this mood. Anyway, I saw your dad today. Daddy Lola came over to my shop." Ibukun said looking at Lola.

"What did he say?"

"This one wey you talk more than two words, ope o. Thank Jesus." She said sarcastically. Lola gave her no reply but just leaned her head on the headrest of the chair she was sitting on. "Actually, he came to tell me that he and the twins are doing okay and you should try and call when you got the time but you don't have to worry about them. I don't know why he came to me directly but I am suspecting that he knew I have an idea where you would be. But that isn't the main point. I heard from mummy Ada that the twins fell sick last week. Those girls are missing you. You're just like their mother and they would be missing your presence at home. You better work out whatever is going on with you and return home. It was obvious on Daddy Lola's face that he wasn't as okay as he said he was. You and I both know that your dad is one of the easiest people to read. He is honestly missing you. And I think the main reason why he came over was to indirectly tell you that he misses you."
