Note: Follow on a sheet of paper to see them better. Plus, you'll have a reference sheet :)

Sound : 'g'
Name : 기역 (gi-yeok)

To write the character, draw a line going straight to the right. Then move down from where you are.

Pronunciation :

When you try to make their sound, know that they are similar to the English alphabet.
For example, you learned that 'A' made an 'ah' sound.

ㄱ =guh

ㄴ=nuh

ㄷ=duh

Once you've practiced enough and think you can read and write these pretty well, move on to the next three characters.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO MOVE ON WITHOUT PROPERLY LEARNING THEM. IT CAN HINDER YOUR LEARNING EXPERIENCE AS YOU MOVE ON!

Extra practice:

WITHOUT looking at your notes, try to pronounce the sounds they make. If you got it right, you could give yourself a smiley face or comment an emoji!

1. ㄷ

2. ㄴ

3. ㄱ
