Okay, to clarify, it is inspired by true events. This did not actually happen. Yes one of my friends named Jenna got broken up with my her boyfriend after his best friend influenced him. No she did not do what happens in the story. Just thought i should clear things up :)

Jenna

Inspired by true events

Maybe I should have been nicer.

Maybe I shouldn't have talked at all.

What exactly did I get out of it again?

Why did I enjoy and laugh at the poor girl crying next to me?

So, I figured, he boyfriend dumped her. No need to snap.

But that's exactly what she did.

I regret those days I teased her.

I wish I had been like the girl next to her.

She was nice.

She made her laugh.

She made it out.

The girl next to me, what was her name again?

Jenna?

Yeah, that's it, Jenna.

Jenna was one of those loner kids.

Her best friends were other freaks and geeks.

But they didn't mind.

They were the kinds to laugh at themselves about their nerdy-ness.

Jenna didn't have that quality.

She took things very hard on herself.

And the boyfriend thing hit the hardest.

Eli was like her boyfriends' best friend.

Apparently, he said something that broke them up.

Now she was pissed.

But I couldn't drop it.

"Hey." I said.

"Please leave me alone." Jenna said.

But I couldn't.

"Sheesh no need to get snippy."

"Shut up."

"Oooo someone needs to chill."

"SHUT. up."

"Why ya' cryin'?" I asked, sarcasm dripping off my mouth.

"Leave me alone."

"No wonder he left you."

NEXT DAY

I'm in class.

So is Jenna.

The teacher is outside.

"Yo. Jenna." Eli said from across the room.

She didn't respond.

She got up.

Walked across the room.

Opened her bag.

Pulled out a gun.

"Bastard." she said and shot.

A girl screamed.

The entire school seemed to grow quite.

The thing we heard about on the news,

the thing we said could never happen to us,

was happening right in our classroom of 316.

The teacher rushed inside.

The gun was pulled on her.

Mrs. Lifford is on the ground with a bullet to the leg.

She got lucky.

Jenna turned to the rest of the class.

We were all under our seats, panicking.

Jenna went around to each of us.

Shot everyone who was ever mean to her.

The girl next to her was passed over.

She got to me.

"I'm sorry Jenna, I'm so sorry."

I said choking on the tears, streaming down my face,

The barrel was put to my head.

I saw the police officer at the door.

I saw Jenna's angered face.

"Why ya' cryin'?" she asked.

And pulled the trigger.
