"In the Encanto it is" I smile and she puts her arm around my shoulders "I have feeling that we will be very good friends" she says and I smile
"Agreed" A bell rings and Mirabel stands up
"I have to get going. Hang tomorrow?" she asks and I nod

"Sounds great"

"Awesome! I'll find ya" She says and walks away, collecting Antonio and waving to me. I wave back and Diego walks over to me
"I made a friend!" He says and I lift him on the fountain

"So did I, who's your friend?"

"His name is Antonio and he's my best friend" Diego says proudly

"Oh really?" I question

"Mhm, he said so we even pinky promised"
"Oh" I say stretching the 'o'

"Who's your friend?" he asks sassily

"Sassy?" I ask poking him in the ribs and he giggles "My friend is Antonios cousin, Mirabel and she's very nice"

"I bet, she looked nice" He says and puts his toys in my bag. He grabs my hand and tries to pull me up.

"Get up" He grunts and I lay on the fountain
"y/n" He whines "You're too heavy" I sit up and eye him, "too heavy for me, I'm too weak" He says and I throw him over my shoulder and grab my bag. He giggles and I walk back home. "Put me down" he says

"No way nino" I say and he starts to wiggle "I'll throw you in the river" I threaten and he stills. "It's hot" he says and starts to wiggle more. I open the door

"Tia" I yell and her head pops out
"Can I throw Diego in the river?" I ask sweetly. She laughs

"It is hot" she says, eyeing Diego, I grab a towel and walk to the river, Diego still over my shoulder.
"Wait I'm sorry" he says desperately as I reach the waters edge. "I didn't mean it" He says and I drop the towel and I gently toss him in the water. The current is too slow to take him away but I stand in the water just in case.

"y/n!" He yells. I pull him out of the water and wrap him in a towel. I feel a prickle on my neck, as if someone is watching us. I ignore it.
"Aye I'm sorry hermanito" I say, kissing his cheek. He grabs my skirt and pulls me knee deep in the water. I gasp and he giggles "Oh you're done" I mutter and his eyes widen as I grab him and hold him above the water.

"y/n" he pleads and gives me puppy dog eyes. I roll mine and gently drop him on the ground. He hugs me, he's freezing. I wrap the towel around him again and grab my shoes. I grab his hand and we walk back. Diego walks in and Tia laughs

"You really threw him in?" "Of course, I never go back on my word" I say and Diego runs upstairs.
