Felix's voice broke through my thoughts. "Pan wants me to take you to another camp to get some fresh air," he said, unlocking my cage. "He's not a total monster."

If I were on the ground, I probably would have seen him roll his eyes at having to babysit me again.

Once the cage reached the ground, he pulled me out, his grip firm on my shoulder. We walked in silence through the dense forest, the sounds of the island muffled by the thick canopy above.

We arrived at a smaller camp, the flickering light of a fire casting long shadows. The Lost Boys here were different—quieter, more subdued. Felix handed me a knife.

"I'm cutting your ropes," he said. "But don't fool yourself. If you try to run, I will catch you. These ropes will also be going back on when we return."

I nodded, my mind racing. I needed to find Henry. I needed to know he was safe.

As I walked toward the fire, a small tug at my sleeve caught my attention. I turned to find a young boy, no older than seven, looking up at me with wide, uncertain eyes.

"Hello," I said softly, crouching to his level. "What's your name?"

"Oliver," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

"Oliver," I repeated, offering a warm smile. "That's a lovely name."

Another Lost boy came running towards me.

"Sorry about him," The older Lost boy said. "He is the newest to arrive on the island and he must have had an older sister back at home. He's still getting used to it."

"What was her name?" I asked gently.

"Caroline," he replied, his eyes brightening slightly.

"That's a beautiful name," I said. "Did she let you play with her hair?"

"Yes," he said, nodding enthusiastically. "She had ribbons and pretty clips. She would let me decorate her hair for hours."

"That sounds wonderful," I said, touched by his words.

As the evening wore on, I found myself lost in conversation with Oliver. He spoke of Caroline, of their home, of the life he had left behind. I couldn't help but think of Henry, of the family he had lost.

Felix's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Sorry, Oliver," he said, his tone softer than usual. "But she has to go back to her place now."

Oliver's face fell, his lower lip trembling. I knelt beside him.

"I'm sorry, bud," I said, my heart aching. "But I'll see you again, okay?"

He nodded, his small arms wrapping around me in a tight hug. I held him close, wishing I could do more.

As we walked back to my cage, Felix remained silent. I couldn't help but notice the subtle shift in his demeanor. He wasn't the same boy who had locked me away without a second thought.

"Nice hairdo," he commented, his voice laced with amusement.

I reached up, realizing that Oliver had braided my hair. "Didn't know I was being watched," I said, a playful glint in my eye.

Felix cleared his throat, his usual bravado faltering.

Flex slowly led me back to my cage. It wasn't even more than a 10 minute walk from the camp I had just been at. I tried to gain some bearings of this place. Who knows if I could make a grand escape one day.

I saw my cage from a distance. The iron bars glistening in the dimming sunlight.

The cage way slowly lowered and I was about to walk in but he stopped me.

"Ah ah ah," he said, reaching in his pocket. "I need to tie your hands." He pulled out some rope from his pocket and tied my hands in front of me this time.

"You're annoying, you know that right?" I asked him.

"Yes, I know," He replied. "But when I get to annoy you, it makes my day 10 times better." He then shoved me into the cage and closed the door. He reached into his other pocket to grab the key but came up empty-handed. He looked at me with a 'bruh,' face and held out his hand through the bars.

"Give me the key," he said with a sigh. I rolled my eyes and opened my hand which held the key I had snatched.

"Didn't think that through very well did you?" He asked, getting real close to my face through the bars. I rolled my eyes again as he grabbed the key from my hand and locked the door.

"See you later Love," Felix said sarcastically.

"Goodbye blondie," I retorted.

He just looked at me, an eyebrow raised.

"Blondie?" He scoffed. "Really? That's all you could think of?" He just laughed and playfully rolled his eyes.

"Would you like me to call you something different?" I playfully asked.

He rolled his eyes but paused for a moment. I could sware he was blushing from underneath the hood of his cloak.

"No." He said, his tone unexpectedly tender."Blondie is fine."

I didn't have anything to retort back to him so I just sat in the cage in silence, waiting for him to suspend the cage back in the air.

Felix's POV:
I was totally blushing. Why, I don't know. I grabbed my jaw with one of my hands, trying to cover the smile that was starting to creep upon my face. There was something about her—something that made it impossible to look away.

"Hope you enjoyed your little 'adventure' today," I said, my voice betraying none of the turmoil I felt inside.

She peered through the bars, her gaze meeting mine. For a moment, I saw something flicker in her eyes—something that mirrored the conflict within me.

I turned away, pulling the ropes to raise her cage back into the air. As I walked away, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. The beginning of something I couldn't name, something that terrified me.

But one thing was certain: I couldn't stop thinking about her.

A/n: Hey my little beans! Hope you enjoyed this chapter. I have to say, it is quite hard adding another character and also trying to follow the script of the show, but I'm managing. Anyways, make sure to get to sleep on time and drink lots of water! Love yalls.
