"Oh you're gorgeous!" She complimented as she took a sip from her drink. "My son is very lucky to have you." She chuckled, winking at Taehyung.
Jungkook was occupied with his parents while you and Tae were busy with yours. The first thing he does is make sure his parents don't tell Taehyung that you're his ex.
"Hi dad, hi mom." He said it flatly, without expressing any joy at seeing his parents after such a long time.
"What are you wearing son?" His father has an arrogant businessman look on his face that is identical to Jungkook's. "Is this what you wear to a party?!" He whispered and yelled making sure no one heard.
"I didn't want to come anyway." Jungkook rolled his eyes and attempted to walk past his father to obtain some drinks for himself, but was caught by his father.
"Jungkook, show some respect. He's your father." His mother gave him a cold stare. She, too, was stunning, and she appeared to be much younger than Taehyung's mother.
"Look at Taehyung. He dressed up so nicely. Do you want him to look better than you?" He tightened his teeth and clutched Jungkook's arm even tighter. His father was very adamant that his son looks better than everyone else, especially Taehyung.
"Stop comparing me to him." Jungkook yanked his arm from his father's grip.
"Is that Y/N?" Jungkook's dad squinted his eyes as he spotted you with Taehyung. "What is she doing with Taehyung?" He frowned looking at Jungkook.
"Oh it is Y/N." Jungkook's mother guaranteed.
"She's dating him," Jungkook scoffs, his gaze lethal as he examines Taehyung's hands all over your body. "And don't tell him she was dating me before."
"She left you for him. Do you know what that means?" His dad asked. "That Taehyung is better than you." He shakes his head in disappointment.
"Oh please." Irritated, Jungkook walks away to get himself a drink. He approaches the bartender and orders vodka and tequila, pushing them both down his throat as if they were water. Then, to avoid the dullness of the party, he takes a seat with his friends other than Taehyung.
"Should we dance?" Taehyung whispered in your ear.
you smiled and nodded and it took him no second to take your hand and whirled you into his arms.
Then, behind Jungkook, a girl in a purple crystal dress appeared, patting his shoulder to get his attention. "Hey, wanna come dance with me?" She grinned hoping he'd say yes. It was his cousin, the most obnoxious of the bunch, who made him roll his eyes.
"Please, for god sake. You're like my sister!" He clutched his eyes shut in irritation. She had always wanted to marry Jungkook, but Jungkook thought marrying a cousin was disgusting.
"I'm not your sister, I want to be more than that. Come on, let's dance or I'll tell your dad." She threatened knowing he's scared of his father but Jungkook didn't feel threatened.
"He doesn't like you anyway so stop trying." He gave her a snarky smirk, which made his entire friend group laugh at her.
She got mad and gripped her fist and when she turned around she saw you dancing with Taehyung recognizing you were Jungkook's ex. She turned her head around and smirked at Jungkook. "Hey look. Isn't that your ex?"
Jungkook's face lit up as he saw you dancing with Taehyung, and it ignited a fire within him. His eyes got dark almost instantly.
You and Taehyung fell into step, allowing the rhythm to guide your motions. All of the scenery and people in your immediate vicinity vanished. It was only you and Taehyung.
