That little spell Regina cast on my map? As if I'd let them cheat. On my island.

I stood atop a moss-covered rock, my back to the clearing, knowing exactly when and where they'd arrive. The moment was perfectly staged.

Emma was first to break into the open.

"Is that..." Her breath hitched. "Henry!"

I turned slowly, my lips curling upward. Dressed in his clothes—scarf, blazer, even his scuffed sneakers—I gave my best innocent smile.

"Oh, hi Emma," I said, drawing out her name like a curse and a promise.

Her face crumbled.

"Where the hell is Henry?" she snapped, fury slicing through the illusion.

"You broke the rules," I said, as if scolding a misbehaving child. "And that's not fair. Bad form, Captain."

"Aye, and you'll get your justice," Hook snarled, stepping forward. "But not before you tell me where my daughter is!"

I raised a brow, amused. "Your daughter?"

"Yes, my daughter. Y/N. H/c hair. E/c eyes. You've seen her."

I grinned slowly. "Oh, her." I laced my words with honey and venom. "She's delightful. Bit of her father's bite, but none of his swagger. Beautiful... though she's quite good at being terrified."

Hook lunged. Charming held him back.

"Give me my son!" Emma shouted, sword drawn again.

"Sorry," I said, voice light. "Cheaters never win."

From the shadows, the Lost Boys emerged—one by one. Torches. Clubs. Arrows nocked, grins sharpened into menace. The clearing lit up like a war drum.

And then?

I gave the signal.

Felix's POV:

I drew my blade and scanned the battlefield. My eyes locked on my target like a predator spotting a wounded deer.

Hook.

"It's been a while, Captain," I said smoothly.

"Not long enough," he growled. Our swords met in a flash of silver and a clash of sparks.

"Do you remember what I did to Rufio?" I asked, stepping in close. "I've got something far worse in mind for you."

His strikes were fast, fueled by rage and panic. I blocked, dodged, let him think he had the edge.

"You will not touch my daughter," he snarled.

I smirked. "Oh, I already have. She's got a lovely scream—charming, really."

Hook faltered. One heartbeat. One mistake.

I went for his ribs, but he recovered fast, blade slamming into mine.

"Stay away from her!"

"Or what?" I sneered. "You'll scold me? Throw me overboard? Walk me off a plank?"

"I'll gut you myself," he spat.

"She wouldn't let you near her even if you tried," Hook added, voice hoarse with effort.

I leaned in. "Is that a challenge?"

"Don't. You. Dare," he said through gritted teeth.

I grinned. "Challenge accepted."

Then came the signal—Pan's whistle, shrill and commanding.

I stepped back, lowering my blade. "Till next time, Hook." I gave him a wink and turned, sprinting back to Peter's side.

Peter's POV

"Remember what I said, Emma," I called down to her, my voice calm as ever. "That map will show you the way to your son... but only when you stop pretending you're something you're not."

She glared up at me, bloodied and breathless, but I wasn't finished.

"Oh—and Hook?"

He met my eyes, barely containing his rage.

"I'll be sure to tell your daughter you said hello."

And with that, I turned, my boys falling in behind me like shadows. Together, we vanished back into the heart of the island, leaving their broken hope behind us.

All in a day's work.
