What were they like if you don't mind me asking?

They were pretty awesome. We used to have like no money, my parents were both only children and their parents died when I was pretty young so it was just me and them, no siblings or cousins or anything. Dad worked really hard at his job until he was eventually getting promotion after promotion and me and mum would spend so much time together while dad was working so we could live the life we wanted. I always liked history from a young age so dad would always bring me history books and mum would read them to me because I always loved listening to the sound of her voice
