ALEX

Lizzie and I step down the stairs to the outside of the stadium, with a crowd of a million other people in front of us and a million more following us.

I exaggerated the numbers.

"Did you see that last goal? THAT WAS SICK." a little kid in the crowd, walking beside Lizzie and me, said excitedly to another kid, presumably his friend.

"Yeah. Did you see the captain play? He's so good in the sport. It's like he was made to play." the other kid replied.

He's good in bed too.

My mind can transition from an innocent kid to a horny sexual fucker, real quick.

Where is he though?

After the match, the players vacated the field through the players' exit, a little entry point at the edges of the field, where the field ends and the seats begin, to somewhere which seemed to be located underground.

What if there are dungeons underneath the stadium? What would Shawn be doing there?

"So, are you good with what you're wearing or do you need to change for the party?" Lizzie said, still watching her steps as stepped down the stairs to the parking lot.

"Is there enough time?" I asked.

Considering the evening darkness which has spread over the sky, that seemed like a valid question to ask.

"No, there isn't. I just asked you that to be polite. We're gonna miss out on the drinks if we go for a last-minute costume change." Lizzie answered.

"Why would we miss out on the drinks?" I asked.

We're now on flat ground, down from the elevated bowl around the regional stadium which forms the seating area on the curves inside, walking towards our car in the parking area to the right of the stadium.

"Only because almost every person from our school and also, the one our team played against today, would be there and the venue is not built for stocking drinks for a thousand people." Lizzie said, while we make a right turn, following a sign, to get to the parking lot.

That elevated seating bowl looks pretty glorious from the outside, from here.

"Where's the venue?" I ask.

"Natalie's house." Lizzie said.

"WHAT?" I look at Lizzie disbelievingly.

She must be joking.

"Oh right, you didn't know that. It's at Natalie's place. Her parents are out of town, so her house is the biggest known rent-free house available." Lizzie looks at me.

SHIT.

"If you don't wanna go, I completely understand. I'll tell Julius to not come too. We could just have a movie night at my house." she says with a knowing look in her eyes.

She knows what's going on in my head.

I realized, I have stopped walking and I start striding towards the parking lot again, Lizzie following me.

I'm still not fully comfortable about Natalie. That picture of Shawn and Natalie kissing is stuck in the back of my head. However hard I try, I can't seem to get it out. I have too many feelings for Shawn to get it out this quickly.

Time. I guess that is what is needed for everything in that back part of my head to okay. Time is what is needed for Natalie to be cool to me again and not just a person that the boy I like, would choose every time he doesn't feel like I'm good enough.

"Alex? Do you feel like going to the party or not?" Lizzie asked, concerned because I still didn't answer this same question she asked a few minutes before.

"Hey, Alex, Liz." the very familiar voice, which turns me on every time I hear it, calls to me.

Oh God, I need to stop hearing his voice in my head all the time.

"Hey, soccer star." Lizzie yells back.

What?

I follow Lizzie's eyes to the direction at which she yelled.

There's Shawn, standing there in all his sportsman glory, his teammates huddled around him. He has a towel around his muscular, veiny neck and he's shirtless. He's sweaty and that really really turns me on. His abs are glistening with sweat and the muscles on his legs twitch with every mere adjustment he makes in his standing posture.

Lizzie runs towards her brother and hugs him. I follow her.

"You were spectacular in there, but I would have liked it better if you kicked that guy who hurt you, in the nuts with those spikey shoes you wear." Lizzie said, with a joking smile.

"Well, the field's meant for playing, not puncturing testicles, so whatever." Shawn laughed.

He moved on from Lizzie and looked towards me.

He took my hand and brought me to the side, further away from Lizzie and his teammates who were trying to eavesdrop into whatever their captain was talking about.

He hugged me and while hugging me, he brought his lips to my ear.

"Did you like seeing me play in there?" Shawn whispered into my ear.

"Believe me, I did." I said with a half-laugh, while separating from his hug.

"I noticed how you were looking at me in there. You like seeing me in a jersey, don't you?" he asked, his voice dangerously seductive.

"I really really do. I saw what you did with that little lifting your shirt to wipe your face trick. That worked." I say, trying to make my voice seductive in response, which was probably a bad idea because every time I do it, it seems like I have got a really really bad cold.

"You're doing that again." Shawn laughed.

"I know." I laughed back.

He knows me well.

"You don't need to try to be more seductive. You're naturally sexy." He smirked.

I can feel the blood rushing to my cheeks and my cheeks burning from that extra stimulation. I know I'm blushing really hard.

"I would kiss you but these guys are here and they don't know yet." he said, giving his a little tilt to the direction of his teammates to indicate to them.

"You don't need to kiss me to make me like you. I like you anyways." I say.

He smiles back at me.

"Come on Alex, we really need to go." Lizzie announced for me.

"Hey, you're going to the party right?" Shawn asks, looking at my face searching for an answer.

I'm not going to let anyone take this precious man away from me and I'll not letting him stay anywhere near Natalie for a long time without knowing that I exist.

"Yeah, I am." I answer.

Author's Note: I'm so sorry for the short size of the chapter here and the cliffhanger. I can already hear you guys screaming. I know you guys have been waiting for the party for a long time now, but I had to clear out the complex between Alex and Natalie at this moment and it would seem way too crammed if I fit in a part of the party inside this chapter itself.

You know what's coming in the next chapter. Hint: It's a certain party.

Did you guys notice how Alex sometimes says he likes Shawn and sometimes says he loves him?

Turns out, Shawn's not the only one confused about his feelings.

I'll stop talking so that I don't give out spoilers.
