Lacy and Blake just stared at me obviously waiting on me to say something.Then and there I told them about Todd and what had happened in the past 2 days.When I finished Lacy squealed."Todd is the 3rd cutest and most popular guy at school!This is huge!".Blake looked ecstatic as we all did a happy dance. "So homecoming is-"Lacy began."Lacy it's just a sale calm down!!"I said grabbing her arm."Hey it's still a sale can't we at least look??"Lacy said like a little kid at a toy store who's mom just said no. "Fine!"Blake said.We all walked together to the dresses.
I found a beautiful turquoise ball gown with silver sequins neatly in rows,a halter top,lots of lace and poof at the skirt,and silver sparkles on the lace skirt.I waited on Lacy and Blake an we all went to the dressing rooms.I put on the gown and looked in the mirror picturing the perfect night.Todd in a expensive tuxedo picking me up at the house,me coming down the stairs with all the household looking at me in awe,Todd giving me a rose and taking me to a limo to eat at a fancy 5 star restraunt.Then,we would ride to the dance and we would get out and everyone would be staring and saying things like "Who is she?""Shes gorgeous!""Perfectly flawless and radiant!""Shes so lucky!".Then a slow song would come on and we would dance all night never leaving eatchother.I snapped out of my day dream when Lacy banged on the door."Rae!Are you ok?!?!"."Oh yeah sorry!"I opened the door and steeped out.Lacy and Blake looked at me like I was a queen or something."Oh Rae you look gorgeous!This is the one!".
I returned the compliment meaning it.Lacy looked flawless in a red dress that came just below here thighs and hugged her at the bottom and was like a tomato top on the top of it.It had pale pinks,yellows,and oranges for the tomato top all going up instead of down.It had pink and orange beading at the skirt and one orange strap with a red ruffle flower on it.Blake looked gorgeous in a blue mermaid dress that had white and blue ruffles at the bottom and white floralembellishing wrapping around the dress as if it were a candy cane.It had no straps but it had a v neck and white ruffle flower similar to Lacy's on the right side.
We all hugged eatchother and Lacy took a picture and posted it on Instagram tagging Blake with @blakelyissocoollike and Me with @reallyrae.Within a few seconds it got 3 likes.At that moment I knew I had true best friends.
