Animatronics are incapable of actually crying, so their voice will glitch when they're 'crying'. If it gets really bad their body will glitch as well, but otherwise its usually just the voice.
The nightmares are a different story. They are nightmares, not actual animatronics. So although they behave similarly to animatronics and have animatronic structure, they also bend logic. they can actually cry.
