When I send her home, I went home immediately. When I enter our living room, I saw Sai laughing his ass of while Shikh is just there, listening, no more like forcing himself to laugh.

What a nice company!

“Oh andito ka na pala kaibigan” lumapit pa sa akin at inakbayan ako.

“Welcome home Young Lord” bati naman ni Shikh, then bow.

I just nod at him while removing Sai’s arm.

“You stink!” I said but he just smiled.

“Why are you laughing so hard?” I asked then went to the bar to get some liquor.

“Wala naman, I just told Shikh what happened today. You can’t imagine how Shikh laugh so hard. His clutching his stomach Xander”
natatawa na namang sabi nito.

I looked at Shikh but he just open his mouth and mouthed I don’t know what’s funny habang nakakunot noo.

“Tss.. you’re sick” I told Sai then he immediately stopped laughing.

“Hey, paanong hindi ako tatawa. You came to my company, claiming that its name is HEAVEN, for heaven’s sake that didn’t even occur in my mind when I was establishing it, then you said you want to see our latest invention, okay the computer parts is taken, kasi hindi ka naman talaga pumunta doon, but what the fucking fuck man, those inventions related to engineer, baka naman ikaw ang may mga ideya doon” then he laughed so hard again. “That’s just ridiculous, just to impress a girl huh?” he said then sipped his wine.

“Then get a girl to impress too” I grinned at him.

He looked at me then grimaced. “Nah, pain in the ass. I’ll just bang them until they pass out” then he make his finger shape like a gun then imaginary fire it.

Then my phone rings. I looked at it and an unknown number appeared.
I swipe it up to answer. “Yes?”

“Good evening Xander, this is Sanny, dean of engineering” pagpapakilala nito. I put it on loud speaker then place it on the table because Sai comes closer, placing his ear near to my phone,  probably to gossip.

“Then?” I asked in a bored tone. Natampal naman ni Sai ang noo nito then mouth “Respect” I just replied

“Fuck you” but he made a kissing sound instead. What a maniac.

“I ahm, just want to tell you that you are chosen to represent our school in a contest. This contest will be held at Palawan, two days, this coming Tuesday next week”

I can sense that he’s not comfortable talking to me. Who will be anyway?
“How many?”

“Two candidates, Ms. Meerah Villafuerte will be joining you. She is good and she won many events inside and outside the school, she can hel—”

I cut him off. “Nah, I don’t like her. I have someone in my mind” Two days huh?

Nakita ko naman ang gulat sa mukha ni Sai. He’s been hitting Meerah for months but she keeps rejecting him. He even told me to meet them up, I did, but Meerah didn’t show up. In the end, Sai keeps on bugging me, claiming that he was ditch by a woman.

“P-pardon?” alam kong nagulat ito sa sinabi ko.

“I have someone to accompany me.”

“May I know who is it then so that I can arrange it and make that person sign this form and waiver?” alanganing sabi nito. I know he doesn’t like it but I don’t care!
