Finally! (Camilo X Reader)

part 13:

Camilo's pov:

I was angry, bit mostly hurt. How could they do such a thing? I thought they were my friend. Luisa already picked me up so i couldn't come closer to them. I saw them crying, like sobbing crying. They deserved it, they shouldn't have told anyone.

Luisa drags me into my room and sits me down on my bed. A few seconds later mamá, papá and Dolores come in. They all sit next to me on the bed.

"You shouldn't have said those things..." Mamá said quietly.

"They didn't have any problem telling you things about me." I say stubborn.

"Camilo, they didn't tell me."

"Yes they did! They were the only one who knew! How else could you know?!"

"Camilo, don't yell at your mother." Papá warns me.

"Well, they did technically tell me-"

I cut her off. "See! They are just a lying traitor."

"They didn't know they were telling me."

I stay quiet for a second, how is that possible? They told her, but didn't know. "So they hinted at it?" I ask confused.

"No."

"I'm not following you. What do you mean?"

"Well, i was just walking past their room one night and i heard them talking so i opened the door, but they were still asleep. Turns out, y/n talks in their sleep and i heard them talking about you and how you don't know who you are yet. And i really wanted to wait for you to come to me, but you just seemed you were in lots of pain. I just couldn't resist."  Mamá explains quickly, a little storm cloud appearing above her head.

I am quiet for a a few minutes. "So they didn't  purposely tell you?"

"No.."

I let out a deep sigh. " Why didn't you just tell me?"

"I didn't think it would be necessary."

"I need to apologize." I say as i try to get up but Dolores stops me.

"I think you can better wait till tomorrow, they might still be upset."

"I mean, probably. I told them nobody loves them... I'm such an idiot." I say as i sit back down.

"To be honest, you really are." Dolores says truthfully.

"Well, that doesn't make me feel better."

"It wasn't supposed too either."

"Alright, alright, i messed up big time. Now can all of you leave? I'll apologize tomorrow, okay?"

"You better do." Mamá kisses me on the cheek before leaving, papá and Dolores following right after.

I practice on what I'm going to say to y/n tomorrow. This has to be a good apology. When i finally have an idea on what I'm going to say i get ready for bed. As i lay down i feel a deep pit in my stomach, i hope i didn't make them that sad. Who am I even kidding? I said the worst things you could ever say to a person.

I fall asleep after hours of twisting and turning.

I wake up by Mirabel yelling. "Buenos días family Madrigal!" As usual. Though, she didn't say 'and y/n!' after. Maybe they are already awake.

Usually i just stay in bed for a few minutes in the morning but this time i get out of bed immediately. Maybe i can apologize to y/n before breakfast.

I head downstairs and don't see y/n anywhere yet. Maybe they are already in the dining room.

I head to the dining room and see everyone there already, except y/n.

You sit down and immediately ask Mirabel where y/n is. "They was up till really late last night, so i thought I would let them sleep in."

You nod, that makes sense. It hurts me to know that they probably stayed up crying all night. God, i really messed up.

Breakfast is done and i run upstairs and am about to knock on y/n's door. No, i will probably make it even worse by disturbing their sleep. I'll just wait till they're awake, they won't sleep all day after all.

I head to town to distract myself for a little. Émile comes up to me as soon as I arrive.

"Hey, Camilo. How are you?" He asks with a smile.

"I'm fine." I answer. Honestly, what does he want?

"That's good! I'm good too." He smiles. He continues to talk about stuff i genuinely do not care about.

"Where's y/n? I haven't heard from them in 2 days." There it goes, the real reason he's talking to me. He's probably in love with them or something.

"Oh, they're sleeping in today." I answer with a fake smile, can't he just go away or something?

"Oh, okay. Well, i gotta go, say hi to them from me please."

"Sure will." I sure won't.

He walks off, of course he has to leave when they aren't here.

I go for a walk around town and come back to Casita when it's almost time for lunch, i get back just in time.

When you sit down at the table outside you notice y/n still isn't here yet. I'll just tell them after lunch, they will surely wake up soon.

Lunch is done and i head back inside when i see y/n leaving from the front door. I go after them, this is my change to apologize.

"Y/n!" i call out for them. They stop and turn around to me and look at me with a confused face.

You walk a bit closer to them so they could hear you. "Look, I'm sorry about yesterday. You didn't tell anyone and i was wrong for not believing you. And what i said about your family, I'm just so sorry."

They nod for a bit and then turn around to walk away but i stop them. "Wait y/n! Please, I'm sorry."

"Look Camilo, i forgive you but I'm still upset about what you said and i just don't want to immediately get back to being all lovey dovey with you yet."

"But, i said I'm sorry, please y/n. Just talk to me."

"No, camilo. Just leave me alone."

"But, the things i said weren't true!"

"Camilo, everything you said about my family was true. Why wouldn't it be true that nobody loves me?"

"But i love you!" I say without thinking.

It stays quiet for a little while when y/n scoffs. " Yeah, platonically, right?" They turn around to leave again, but i stop them and hold them close. Without even thinking i kiss them.

A/n:
Again, a new chapter.
So yeah, kinda happy ending this chapter. Next chapter will have even more drama then the last one. anyway i literally just found out how i spell "immediately", i just didn't know how to speel it till today, so any time you saw me use "as soon as" i actually meant "immediately" lol. Anyway, next chapter might take a little longer, today i rescued a little kitten from the side of the road and I'll be taking care of it the most of next day and make sure it doesn't get eaten by my other cat :) we named him lucky, because he was really lucky he didn't get ran over by a car <3 anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter!
