Finally! (Camilo X Reader)

part 10: not funny

"Buenos días family Madrigal! And y/n!" You hear first thing in the morning.

You open your eyes and see Camilo still hanging onto you.

"Camilo, time to get up." You whisper to him while trying to get up.

He groans. "Just a little bit longer..." He says while holding you tighter.

"No Camilo. We need to get up."

"Ugh, fine." He lets go and gets out of bed.

You head to your room to change and then go downstairs and sit down at the table next to Luisa and Isabela.

Throughout breakfast Camilo was constantly whispering to Dolores. At some point Dolores whispered something to Pepa, Pepa to Félix, Félix to Julieta, etc. Except, nobody whispered anything to you.

Breakfast was over and you help cleaning up, as usual.

You thought about going to the forest with Camilo, to hang out. So you look for Camilo, but see him racing upstairs as soon as you exited the kitchen.

"Camilo!" You yell at him, but he didn't hear you and went to his room. You wanted to run after him but Mirabel stopped you.

"What's wrong with Camilo?" You ask concerned.

"He's feeling a little sick." Mirabel says while trying to lead you from the stairs.

"Can't Julieta make something to make him feel better?"

"She is. But it's better to stay beat from him while she is making something."

"Yeah, okay. Makes sense."

"So, what will you be doing today?"

"Well, i actually wanted to hang out with Camilo today."

"Oh, well, why won't we do something?" Mirabel suggests with a smile.

"Oh, sure!"

You both went to Mirabel's room and she teaches you some embroidery. She even helps you attach the little flower she gave you a few days ago to your shirt. It was really fun, but also really frustrating. You were not as good at it, to put it lightly.

"Ugh! How do you even have the patience for this?!" You ask frustrated.

Mirabel laughs. "Years and years of practice."

"I would rather die than do this for year, no offense."

Mirabel giggled. " Camilo said the same thing when i teached him."

You chuckle. " I can only imagine him all frustrated about it."

"TIME FOR LUNCH!" Pepa yells from downstairs.

You both head downstairs and sit down at the table outside.

You notice that Camilo isn't there.

"Where is Camilo?" You ask.

"Oh, he still doesn't really feel better." Julieta answers.

"And you gave him your food, right?" You ask concerned.

"Yes.."

"How isn't he better yet?" You begin to get a bit sick. How isn't he better yet after literally eating magic food?

"No, but he will get better. Don't worry." Pepa says with a smile

If Pepa isn't worried, there is no reason i should be, you think by yourself.

You eat your lunch mad it's delicious as always. And you help clean up.

You decide to go check on Camilo, you head to the stairs when Julieta calls for you.

"Y/n! Could you please go to town to get some eggs and milk?" She asks.

You turn to her. "Of course i can." You say with a smile.

"Thank you! You're a life safer." She says with a little chuckle.

You head to town and go to get some milk and eggs. You even went to get some candy for Camilo, he would like that.

You head back to Casita and enter it to see everyone in the hallway. You wonder what they are doing there when you see that they are all... Crying?

"Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong?" You ask.

It's silent for a while when Félix spoke up. "It's Camilo."

You get worried sick. "What's wrong with Camilo?" You ask concerned.

"He, um, he's dead..." Dolores says with a tear rolling down her cheek.

You freeze and drop the eggs, milk and candy you had in your hands.

"What?" You say quietly.

It's silent for a moment.

"This can't be true... This isn't funny! It's not funny, Camilo! You can come out now." You yell with tears in your eyes.

Everyone is silent, nothing happens. Then you break out into tears.

You just sit there crying for a good minute when someone taps on your shoulder. You look up to see Camilo.

"Get pranked!" He says with a smirk on his face.

You just stand there frozen, looking at him when you are hit with a wave of anger.

"Are you kidding me?! How can you do that?!" You bring out.

"I thought it would be funny.." he says with his smile dying down.

"Well it isn't, asshole! It thought you died!" With that you just run upstairs, to your room. This is not funny at all, with a stupid prank. That everyone was in on it made you even more angry.

You stand still in the middle of the room, looking outside your window.

A few minutes later you hear the door creek open, you don't turn around and continue facing the window. You then feel someone hug you from behind.

"I'm sorry.." camilo whispered. "I should've thought this through a lot more. I thought it would be funny, Wich it obviously wasn't."

You don't respond.

He just holds you for a few minutes. He then gives you a little kids on your cheek. "I'm sorry, y/n. Please say something."

You get a little red. You turn around and hug him back. "I forgive you. Maybe it was just a little funny." You say wich makes the both of you laugh a little. End good, all good.

A/n:
Another chapter, yay. This one is actually a filler! Are you proud of me?/j.
Anyway, it isn't that good, but i like it. I guess it shows the sight of Camilo that loves to prank people, but make sure things are still okay between them :) I also have the strong urge to make a bad ending. But I'm too nice for that ig, or not...
