Finally! (Camilo X Reader)

part 12: but i didn't do anything..

You found her and you guys started cleaning, a few hours later you remember something. "Hey, Mirabel? You like Émile, right?"

"Hm? oh yeah, why?"

"Well, he doesn't even like women."

It's silent for a moment and then she speaks up "yeah, makes sense." She says nonchalant.

"You're not sad about it?"

"Well, the fact that u don't even stand a chance is a bit disappointing, but its not like I'm that surprised. Why? Are you sad about it?" She says teasingly.

"Well, he likes someone and I don't know, just the thought of the two of them being together just... Doesn't feel right." You say with a sigh.

"Well, maybe you're jealous?"

"I cant be jealous of my friend, that's a horrible thing to be."

"I would say, just wait and see."

"Yeah, you're right. Just see how it happens." You give her a crooked smile and she gives you one back.

Lunch came around and you and Mirabel already set the table and sat down. A few minutes later everyone else sat down as well.

After lunch you help cleaning up and you are the last one in the kitchen, just doing the dishes. You try to get a cup on the highest shelf, but usually someone else does it for you because it's too high.

You try to get it up, the struggle is real. Suddenly you feel someone tap you on your shoulder and you almost drop the cup.

You catch it and turn around to see Camilo, who else would it be? "Asshole." You mumble to him and get back to trying to get the cup on the shelf.

"Shorty." Camilo says teasingly.

You turn to Camilo. "We're literally the same height, Einstein. Bet you can't even do it."

With that he janks the cup from you, shape shifts into Luisa and easily puts the cup on the shelf.

"That's not fair." You say as he shape shifts back into himself.

"But, it really is." He says while sticking his tongue out and you do it back. " I have to go now, mamá wanted to talk to me about something."

"Did you do something you shouldn't have?" You roll your eyes.

"Not that I'm aware of."

"Just go already."

"Alright, alright." He gives you a kiss on the cheek and walks off.

A few seconds after that Dolores pikes her head in the kitchen. "This is exactly what I meant." And she leaves again.

You look for Mirabel and continue cleaning with her. You usually don't really like cleaning, but it's a lot more fun with someone who will talk about literally anything.

A few hours later you are finished cleaning and are just chatting with Mirabel when you heard someone walking towards you from behind. You turn around and see Camilo. "Hey, camilo! How did the talk-"

Before you can even finish your sentence Camilo hits you across the face.

"What was that for?!" You yell at him while holding your face on the place where he hit you.

"'what was that for?' what was that for?! YOU TOLD MY MOM! YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T TELL ANYONE, YOU PROMISED!" He yells back at you with tears in his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about! I didn't tell anyone, i swear!"

"YES YOU DID! YOU FORCED ME INTO A TALK I WASN'T READY FOR! HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING TO YOUR FRIEND?!"

It hurts seeing him like this, you quietly speak up. " but i didn't do anything.."

"Oh, stop playing dumb with me! You told my mom and now my whole family knows!" Now tears are rolling down his face.

"Camilo, i didn't tell anyone. But at least it's your family, you know? They will except you." You tried to calm him down but he got even angrier.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FAMILY, YOU HAVE BARELY ONE OF YOUR OWN!"

It's quiet for a moment. "What?" You say quietly.

"I mean, please! Your mom left you as soon as you were born and your siblings left you as well, without ever coming back! Not to mention your dad that sends you away to abandon you!"

"What are you even talking about?!" You feel tears forming in your eyes.

"Oh please! Everyone here knows! Your dad isn't coming! And he never will!"

You feel tears rolling down your cheek and you stay silent. Camilo comes a bit closer to your face and whispers. "Nobody loves you."

You starts crying and you push him away. " How dare you say that! I get you're angry because someone told your secret and when you're angry you do stupid stuff, but you are not to take it out on someone who didn't do it!"

"But you did! You're the only one who knows!"

"But i didn't do it!"

He walked closer to you again, you don't know what for because Luisa grabbed him and pulled him away from you.

Tears roll down your face seeing him do angry, because of you. You know you didn't do anything but he's still mad at YOU.

Yeah lots of drama. So this is the end of the book, so thank you all for reading. No I'm just kidding, honestly know how to recognize a joke. Anyway I'm thinking of doing Camilo's pov in the next chapter. kind of a spoiler: Okay so, if everything goes according to plan, there will be a little smooch between two characters in the next few chapters, but honestly i don't know between wich characters yet so yeah.
