Prologue
Committing mistakes is inevitable. One way or another, even if you're the most perfectionist man who ever existed, you will eventually fail on something.
I have committed multiple mistakes in life. My father, Agosto Linhares, always tells me that failures help us grow and learn. We stumble, we stand up, and we move on but we learn during the whole process and we don't forget the lessons.

Eros smirks at me slowly and his gaze slides down to my lips before he brings it back up to my eyes again. My breathing hitches at the sight of his hazel eyes and long thick eyelashes.
"What can we do? You missed, Pana," Eros whispers, and I bring my eyes down to his smirking lips.
My heart thumps faster. Why would my heart thump faster? I must be out of my mind! Hindi siya ang gusto ko kaya bakit gumagalabog nang ganito ang puso ko?
Bakit hindi ako makahinga?

"You got me," he whispers again in a teasing tone.
