Finally! (Camilo X Reader)

part 9: Camilo's struggles

You get a bit warm and stay silent, frozen in place.

"Platonically." He says a few seconds later.

Ouch. Well it was kinda expected. You're best friends at this point.

"I love you too, platonically." You whisper back while continuing playing with his hair.

"And you won't tell anyone, right?"

"I won't, i promise."

"Okay, thank you y/n."

"Anything for you."

You continue cuddling for a few more hours.

"TIME FOR DINNER!" You hear Pepa yell from downstairs.

"Do you want to stay here? I can save you some food and bring you a plate." You offer when Camilo let out a big sigh.

"Yes, thank you." He says quietly.

"Just rest till i come back okay?"you say while getting out of bed.

He nods and closes his eyes.

You head downstairs into the dining room and go to Pepa.

"Hey, Pepa." You say with a small smile.

"Oh, hello Y/n!" She says cheerful.

"Camilo isn't feeling well, can i bring a plate to his room so he can eat there?"

"Oh, of course he is. You can also get something for yourself and eat with him. I will check on him after dinner."

"Okay, i will."

You get two plates for you and Camilo and fill them. You get a glass of milk for you and a glass of orange juice for Camilo.

You go back to Camilo's room where he is still in his bed.

You put his food in his night stand and shake him slightly. "I have your dinner here. Pepa says i could eat with you."

He smiles at you. " Thank you."

You both sit down on the floor with some pillows to eat dinner.

"Gross, you have milk?" He says with a disgusting face.

"Yeah? It's delicious." You answer rolling your eyes jokingly.

"Ew, you drink milk on its own? Weirdo."

"For your information, it's really good and healthy. Way more healthier than that oranje juice of yours."

"No, it isn't, it's pure oranges. So it's only fruit, no sugars."

"Oranges already have natural sugars in it, stupid."

"No it hasn't." He says stubborn.

"It literally has, Camilo."

"You're lying."

"If you say so, smarty-pants."

"Don't call me that!" he says jokingly annoyed.

"What are you gonna do about it? Attack me with your nO sUgAr OrAnGe JuIcE." You say laughing.

Camilo launches at you and starts tickling you.

"S-stooop! Camilo! Stop it!" You yell laughing.

"Let me think about it.... No." He says with a smirk on his face.

"No, no, please! I'm begging you!"

"I like the sound of that."  He says jokingly and he stop tickling you.

He's still on top of you. You get red and try to cover your face.

"Get. Off. Of. Me!" You say while pushing him off of you, laughing.

"No need to be so violent." He says giggling.

"You started it." You stich your tongue out to him and he does it back, after you both break out laughing.

Half an hour later you decide to bring back the dirty dishes. When you were about to leave Pepa comes in to check on Camilo.

When you get downstairs in the kitchen you are met with Dolores.

"Having fun up there?" She asks with a smirk.

"Honestly, yes. Why?"

"Nothing, nothing." She says teasingly. "Just, you know, checking in. You like him right?"

You blush a little, but she doesn't see it. "Of course i do, he's my friend after all." You answer with a smile.

"I mean, you like like him." She says with a sigh.

"What? No. We're just friends!." You say with a smile. That's what Camilo wants, so that's how it is.

"Mmmm, okay. We'll have fun!" She says and she walks off.

You get back upstairs and see Pepa leaving Camilo's room. You enter it and see Camilo laying on his bed again.

"Did you miss me?" He teases you.

"Always." You say back while laying down next to him.

"Hey y/n?" He asks a few minutes later.

"Mh? What is it?"

"Do you want to stay here tonight?" He asks carefully.

"Of course, a little sleep over." You say smiling at him.

"Yeah.." he says smiling back.

You guys lay there for a few more minutes and play games the rest of the night. It's getting late and you decide to already lay in bed. You cuddle in the same position as earlier that day while you read him a book.

"'and there i saw him, with another girl. My heart shattered into pieces. How could he do something like that?'" you read from the book.

Camilo gasps. " How can he do that to her? The girl he loves?"

"Well, clearly he doesn't love her." You simply answer.

"But he just made a mistake! Mistakes can happen."

"Please. He's just using her for the money."

"Of course he doesn't! He fell in love with her before he knew she was rich. The same way you fell in love with me before you knew i had a gift." He says teasingly.

"Oh, shut up." You say laughing a little.

You continue reading the book, when it ended.

"Who, would've guessed the girl he cheated with and the main character would end up together?" You say while closing the book.

You don't get an answer and you look at Camilo. He's sleeping. How cute, you think.

You put away the book and close your eyes and fall asleep as well.

Yay a new chapter is here, i all of the sudden got an idea. It isn't really a filler, as this chapter will be important to the plot, but it fit in nicely. Hope you enjoyed, stay safe!
