From generation to generation,
Things change,
Everything bends to the will of time.
But there is one thing that can never fade,
Changed or be altered,
And that is God's faithfulness.
Though I crumble,
And the storms of life rumble,
Forever will I be at ease,
That your mercy is ever sure,
Ever abiding,
And your faithfulness extends to all generations.
