Fatefulness

12 8 2

No one knows when death will come knocking,
And no one knows the workings of men,
Nor can we find it even if we look deep enough.

But what will be will be,
As fleetingly as the seasons come and go,
So is the time of man on earth.

There's an appointed time for everything;
A time to cry,
A time to laugh,

A time to scream,
A time to be quiet,
A time to live and a time to die.

It is appointed for man to die once,
And after that is reckoning,
So live every day with purpose because tomorrow might not be.
