3 years together

It was you and Niall’s 3 year anniversary, you wake up to him quietly singing ‘Just The Way You Are’ in your ear. When your eyes begin to flutter open, he smiles brightly as if his whole world had just lit up. “Morning Princess”, he says sweetly. “Morning Niall” you smile. “Ready for breakfast?” he asks excitedly. “Of course”, he picks you up bridal style and carries you downstairs, prepared to cook, you start to walk to the fridge to get some ingredients out but stop once you see two plates on the table with your favorite breakfast on them, T-Bone steaks with scrambled eggs and bacon with a glass of orange juice. “Aww Ni, you didn’t have to do all this for me!” you say smiling. “I’d do anything for you princess, I love you."He then gives you a sweet peck on the lips. After breakfast, you get up to put the dishes away and load the dish washer, but Niall stops you, “It’s okay, Princess, I got it.” he says and kisses your forehead as you sit back down. “Ni, it’s both of our anniverseries, I can’t leave you to do everything.” you say as you giggle. “I want to, Princess, now go get dressed, we have a looooong day ahead of us”.  You agree and head upstairs to get ready, you put on a black shirt and jeans with a bit of makeup and a pair of vans and went back downstairs. ‘So where are we going?” You say excitedly. “Why don’t we go ice skating?” he said. “Sure!” You both loved ice skating, it’s how you met. Your brother was an ice hockey player and your Dad was the ice hockey coach, so you had a lot of time on the rink. You were a great skater, but when you met Niall, he couldn’t even stand without holding onto the ledge on the rink, so when you zoomed past him every time he would definitley hold the wall to keep him up. You decided to help him out, so you introduced yourself and Niall ended up holding onto your hand the entire time, you two exchanged numbers when he had to go and started your 3 year relationship. Anyways, when you got to the rink with Niall, you noticed Niall trying to show off, it ended with him on the sliding on the floor on his bottom. After ice skating you two decided to go to the mall, “Princess, look at this dress.” he said pointing to a beautiful Jovani dress hoping you would like it. “Wow it’s beautiful Ni.” you said and walked to another store with him. After some shopping, you decided to go home and exchange gifts. You gave Niall his first, you bought him an Assioma Bvlgari watch. His face lit up when he opened it, it was moments like this that made you happy, seeing Niall so excited and joyful. He thanked you and put it on, it looked great on him. He then handed you your gift, you opened it and it was the Jovani dress you saw earlier. It was beautiful. “So let’s get ready for dinner?” Niall said. “I got us reservations at the new Italian Restaurant” “I got us reservations at that new French Restaurant” you two said at the same. You two laughed and agreed on going to the Italian Restaurant. You put on your new dress and Niall put on a suit and you drove off to the restaurant. You two were having a great time and after you ate, you headed off to the beach to watch the sun set. When you got there, the sun was just about to set, you were walking across the coast when Niall did something incredible. “(Y/N), these past three years have been the best years of my life, and I know that there is nobody else I’d rather share the rest of my life with  but you,” He dropped down on one knee.  ”So, (Y/ f/n) will you marry me?” He said pulling out a beautiful diamond ring. You were speechless and you felt the exact same way about Niall. You nodded your head really fast and he slid the ring on your finger. You were so excited you jumped into his arms, which he wasn’t expecting, you two landed in the water, you were laughing and spent another 2 hours there just sitting and talking about your future together. You were marrying the love of your life.
