Isabela's pov:

I high fived with mirabel when we finally partnered dolores with that guy with a nose that looks like a smashed papaya

But just then i saw his sister, the one who i actually like or is it love? But she looked at dolores and mariano with sadness? And happiness?

I nudged mirabel's stomach and pointed at the girl

Mirabel went to her and gave her a side hug and they talked, but i can't understand

So i just waited for mirabel, after a few seconds she walked back to me

"What happened?"

"She's ok, that's what she said"

We just proceeded to help around the house but i can't help but think about her

I looked for her from my place and saw her talking with her mom, and she placed her head in her mom's shoulder and rested

Camilo notices me staring "who are you staring at exactly , is it the pretty girl or señora guzman?" Camilo asked teasingly

I smacked his face away, and went back to helping build casita

*Time skip*

Now mirabel is going to put the doorknob, as she put the door knob the house lit up and casita came back to life

So we celebrated and camilo walked to me shapeshifting into y/n and teased me

I gave him a cactus in return, where? That's not important

Y/n's pov:

As we celebrated i saw dolores and mariano being happy together while mami was beside me comforting me

"Oh mami, I'm ok"

"Whatever you say hija"

I walked to the middle of casita where everyone was dancing at and saw dolores' cousin

Isabela, Mariano's ex-girlfriend. She is beautiful but I'm not really into her

I saw antonio walk to me "hola y/n"

"Hola antonio"

"Come with me"

He dragged me outside just beside the casita

"Stay here" He said and went back to the casita, so i just sat at the grass and admired the sunset

After a few minutes of waiting isabela sat beside me, "Hola"

"Hola"

"You ok?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't i?"

"You looked pretty sad earlier, and right now"

"I'm ok, just a bit overwhelmed"

"If you say so"

It was quiet, not that awkward though

Isabela stood up, and i looked at her. She extended her hand and i held it with mine and i stood up

"Come with me" She said and held my waist then started using her gift like ropes to go to the top of the mountain quickly, reminds me of tarzan

"Here we are" She said and sat at the grass, so i sat beside her. The view was beautiful really, it's a better view of the sunset but there was a lake

"It's beautiful here"

"Yeah, it is. This is where i go when there's a lot of pressure from the family"

I feel her gaze at me so i looked at her, "you know, i think you like my cousin" She said and chuckled

"Well i did" I said sadly and put my head in my knees

She just patted my back

"I like you"

I looked at her surprised

"Like romantically" She said

"I'm sorry"

"Don't worry, it's understandable. But I'll wait for you until you like me back"

I smiled at her, "Gracias" I said and she smiled back

"We can make it work, we can be together and you can make me fall for you" I said

"Good idea" She said and held my hand

"Y/n guzman, will you be my girlfriend and let me make you fall for me?" She asked smiling warmly

"Yes" I said chuckling, she stood up dragging me with her and she started singing while using her gift while i just watched her smiling
