I was currently laying down on my stomach with my face in a pillow when I felt the bed dip and a pair of familiar arms wrap around me.

I sat up and hugged Cam, crying into his shoulder. I told him everything that happened and he just kept comforting me.

I can't believe Hayes would do that. I understand that he doesn't like him but it's not like anything would've happened between me and Kaiden anyways.

I pulled away from mine and Cameron's hug and he wiped the tears under my eyes with his thumb. "I think you should talk to him." He suggested and I sighed. "Why, Cam? Why would I talk to him if he hasn't even apologized? I'm not the one who did anything wrong." I said and he shook his head.

"It's not about who did what wrong, Sam. You guys are bestfriends and you shouldn't throw that away just because of a guy." he says and I thank him. "When did you become the smart one?" I playfully ask and he flips his imaginary hair.

"I always have been, baby sister. Now go talk to Hayes." He says and I nod before standing up and walking out the door.

Hayes POV:

I laid down in Nash's room and tried to think of a way to get Sam to not be mad at me when the door opened and she was standing there with tear stained cheeks.

I made her cry, and that's something I'll never forgive myself for.

I leaped up and engulfed her in a hug and we rocked back and forth. "Oh my god sam I am so so so so so so so so-" I started to say but she cut me off. "It's okay Hayes. I forgive you." she mumbled into my chest.

If I ever wanted to tell her how I felt, now would be the time. I pulled away from our hug and she gave me a confused look.

"I'm about to tell you something, and you have to promise me that no matter what you say or think, this friendship won't end because of it." I said and she slowly nodded her head.

I took a deep breath and started. "I like you Sam. I really, really like you and it's taken me awhile to realize it, but I do." And she sighed.

"I'm sorry Hayes. But I don't see you as anything but my bestfriend." she said quietly and my heart broke.

I nodded my head and stood up from the bed I was sitting on. "Where are you going?" She asked as I walked out of the door. "I just need some air." I muttered as I went as far away from her as I could.

Sam's POV:

I honestly feel really bad for friend zoning Hayes, but I just don't see him like that. And it's not my fault that I don't like him as more then my best friend.

I went into the parents' room and they were all gone except Nila. "Sweetie what's wrong!?" She asked worriedly and I explained everything that happened between me and Hayes.

"Oh darling. Just give him time, he will come around." she said as she comforted me. "Why don't you go pack, we leave tonight." she suggested and I nodded before going back to my room and packing.

I packed all Hayes' things and then started on mine when he walked in the room.

I kept trying to talk to him, but he wouldn't even make eye contact. I sighed and stood up with his bags. I handed them to him and said "I packed your things for you." and he just mumbled a thanks.

I nodded and went back to packing my things.

Hayes POV:

We boarded the plane and I got stuck next to some chick that wears way to much makeup and won't leave me alone.

I wasn't paying attention until Sam walked up to us. "Hi. I'm his girlfriend so I suggest you back the hell up and sit your thirsty ass somewhere else." She said with a fake smile.

I smiled a little at the fact that she was jealous and said she was my girlfriend, but I'm sure it was nothing.

The girl looked shocked but immediately stood up and sat somewhere else.

The plane took off and Sam leaned her head on my shoulder, causing me to tense up and I think she noticed. "Hayes, please don't make this awkward. You're still my bestfriend." she said with a small smile.

I smiled back and she put her head on my shoulder and this time, with her beats on. "Goodnight Sam." I whispered and kissed her forehead as she drifted to sleep.

As she slept, I took in all her features I never noticed before.

Her bright green eyes, the way her body rises and falls as she breaths. I'm falling for my bestfriend, and I'm falling hard.
