Neon's pov🐰

"Last bit of paint. . . And. . . Done! Finally!" I said with excitement.

I finally finished the mindscape doll after months!

I looked at the finished product.

It springs to life looking at itself.

"Thank you." The doll said no more stuttering and light distortion.

"You're welcome." I said.

"Neon! The boss is calling for all of us!" I heard Merupo call from the other side of the door.

"Coming!" I yelled.

"Take me with you." The doll said grabbing my sleeve.

"I can't! What if they saw you!" I whispered/yelled at the doll.

"They won't." It said giving me the puppy eyes or doll eyes should I say.

"Fine just don't get caught." I said, I can't resist puppy eyes or doll eyes ok!?

"Ok." It said jumping off the table.

I walked off to meet the others.

Timeskip brought to you by Jeff, Himiko and Ayato on a killing spree.

Still Neon's pov🐰

I am now running after the doll.

How did that happen you might ask?

Long story short we were sent to explore this forest and the doll took me out of the plan then it told me to follow it.

So here I am staring at the same box that was in my mindscape.

I looked inside the glass box, it was too rushed to see through.

The doll taps its tiny fingers on the glass.

I just stared at it.

"I found him." The doll said.

It taps on the glass again.

This time whoever or whatever is on the other side of the glass taps back in a pattern.

'Morse code?'

The doll looked at me then turned it back on me showing me its bronze key.

I remembered the mindscape the key was on a doll replica of me.

The key is this doll's key.

"Are you sure?" I said.

It nodded.

Doing what was told I took the key from the doll and opened the box.

Inside staring right back at me was a bigger version of the doll.

"It's good to see you actually remember me. Well partly." It spoke, it has the same voice as the doll version.

I just stood there dumbfounded.

"You probably forgot this, but we've met when you were still a child." They stood up.

"You gave me the doll as a child. . ." I said backing up.

"Correct dear. I took interest in you the second you found amusement in the marionettes I made." It said walking out of the box.

"Yeah they were pretty." I said finally remembering the times I've spent with them.

"I'd be lying if I said you weren't a weird kid. You spent more time trying to recreate what I've made than with family." They said.

"Fair enough. . . There are some problems at home and well I need to distract myself." I replied.
