Finally! (Camilo X Reader)

part 5: under the tree

When it's over you decide it's time to head back. You walk back, holding hands, as usual.

You get back and before going to your rooms you turn to Camilo. "Thank you for ruining my sleep schedule, it was worth it." You smile and give him a hug.

"With pleasure." He says while hugging you back.

You both head to bed. You will probably only get a few more hours of sleep, but it's still a few hours.

"Buenos días family Madrigal!" You hear a familiar voice yelling. "And y/n!" It follows a few seconds later.

You get out of bed, still tired from the night before. You get dressed and head downstairs.

When you get downstairs you see Mirabel. "Buenos días, Mirabel." You say while giving her a little pat on her shoulder.

"Buenos días, y/n!" Oh, did you sleep well? You don't look so good." She asks with a concerned face.

"Well, thank you. I'm just a bit tired, nothing to worry about." You answer with a smile.

You head to the dining room and sit down next to Mirabel and Isabela.

A few minutes later Camilo walks in, looking really tired. He sits in front and you let out a little chuckle. When he heard it he shape shifts into you and chuckled dramatically, mocking you. You stick your tongue out to him as he shape shifts back into himself.

You eat breakfast, wich is delicious, as usual and helped clean up after, as usual.

"Hey y/n!" Camilo greets you as soon as you walk out of the kitchen.

"Hey, Camilo! Did you sleep well?" You ask teasingly.

"Funny. But no i didn't, stayed up all night thinking about you." He teases back.

"Understandable." You say full of yourself.

"Anyway, can you help babysit again this afternoon?" He asks.

"Yeah, of course."

"Okay, i have to clean up my room." He says with an annoyed face.

"Good luck with that." You say giggling.

He rolls is eyes. "So what will you do this morning?" He asks with a smile.

You think for a bit. "Probably just go in town, most likely talk to Émile for a bit."

"Oh, okay." He says, turns around and walks upstairs.

"See you later!"

He just waves to you without stopping or looking back.

Weird.

You go to town and see Émile walking.

"Hey Émile!" You say while walking up to him.

"Salut, y/n! You look very handsome today." He says with a bright smile.

"Thank you. You do too." You smile back. "What are your plans for today?"

"I will help the person I'm staying with cleaning the house this morning, further i have nothing to do."

"How nice of you."

"Thank you. Do you maybe want to hangout this afternoon?"

"I would love too, but I'm helping Camilo babysit this afternoon."

His smile fades away. "Oh.." he says disappointed.

"Sorry" you while laying your hand on his shoulder.

"It's okay." He smiles. " Then, do you want to have a sleepover?"

"Sounds fun." You say smiling.

"Alright! I can set out a tent outside somewhere, i think it'll be more fun."

"It would be! I'm looking forward to it."

"Alright, i have to go now. See you tonight." He gives you a kiss on your hand and then leaves.

The rest of the morning you tried to make a flower crown, but miserably failed. You decided to just ask Isabela for one. She gave you one with all sorts of yellow flowers.

You head back to Casita just in time to hear Pepa yell "TIME FOR LUNCH!".

you sit down at the table outside, next to Dolores and Antonio this time.

Lunch was delicious, nothing new. But this time you didn't help clean up after. Camilo dragged you to town as soon as lunch ended.

"What was that for? I wanted to help clean up." You said when you arrived at the house of the children you needed to babysit.

"No, you didn't. You just feel acquired to help, because you think you're a burden." He says nonchalant.

"No, i don't." You say. You actually do. What do you have to offer a kind family who all have gifts.

"Sure, but we needed to make it on time." He says and gives you a little push with his arm.

You watch over the kids and okay some games. A few hours later you are playing a game of tag with the kids, while Camilo is watching. He's sitting under a tree, almost falling asleep.

"I'll be right back." You say to the kids. The oldest one gives nods to you. You walk towards Camilo and sit down beside him.

"Tired?" You ask while laying your head on his shoulder.

"Yeah" he mumbles. He rests his head on yours and puts his arm around you.

"Me too."

"Just a few minutes." He whispers. And he closes his eyes.

A few moments later you also close your eyes and you both fall asleep, under the tree.
