I shivered in the cold as another gust of wind blew my way.

"I'm. An. Idiot."

I'm wearing this cute olive sleeveless epaulettes embossed button down shirt that comes down to my thighs. And I wore black tights and black boots with some stylish buckles. A really cute outfit right? The stupid thing was that I didn't check the weather forecast. And it's seriously freezing right now, it's like 59 degrees. I didn't find out until I already arrived to school and I checked the weather on my phone. How am I suppose to know the weather would all of a sudden change? I thought Los Angeles is suppose to be a desert!

Now I have to walk around school, in a cute but stupid outfit. Why is the world so cruel, what have I done to deserve this?

I shamefully walked out of 2nd period. Lots of people gave me weird glances that are pretty much screaming, 'why the hell is she wearing a summer outfit in a cold day like this?' Somebody, kill me now!

I trudged to my next period. I saw Wyatt walk out of my class, everyone parted away from him like the Red sea. He saw me and smirked.

"Nice outfit, princess."

I gritted my teeth, but said nothing. I walked past him, shoving past him. Lots of people gasped at what I did, but I ignored them and went into class. I looked over to my desk and my eyes widened. I rushed to my desk and picked it up.

A jacket.

My prayers have been answered! And it's so cute, thank you God! It was a black denim jacket with a hoodie. I hugged it, it's soo warm. I shrugged it on, probably a size bigger than me but it still fits. I'll just wear it for the rest of the day, or maybe week or month or... Stop it Autumn. I can't do that, this jacket is someone's. I'll just wear it until the owner turns up. I need it more than they do since they took it off. Then I'll wash it and put it in the lost and found. I high-5 my mind for the great plan. I buttoned up the jacket as soon as class started.

"Holy crap." Brooke said as she sat down across from me at lunch.

"What is it?"

"Where in the world did you get that jacket?"

I paused, I didn't think of an excuse where I got this jacket. What can I tell her? I picked it up on my desk and put it on instead of putting it in the lost and found? She'll never look at me the same way again.

"Uh... a friend of mine lend it to me"

"Wow really? Could you ask where they got it, for me?"

I high-5 my mind for the second time today. I'm on a roll.

"Sure."

She poked on her bean burrito with her fork.

"So how are you and Isaac?"

She blushed. "Good."

"Really?"

She sighed, her eyes going to lala-land "He's such a nice guy, and sooo sweet. We've been on a couple of dates now."

"So are you guys officially together, then?"

She frowned. "No, he's too much of a gentleman and taking it slow for me. But I wish he would hurry up already, then I'll be his. And Wyatt will finally give up on me."

I bit my lip. "I think that's the problem."

Her eyes shot to me. "What?"

"I mean think about, the Wyatt Matthews wants you, but he currently has you. Isaac is pretty smart taking things slow until Wyatt gives up."

"Son of a b." She grumbled.

"Look, here he comes."

Wyatt sat next to me, across from Brooke.

"Why hello there ladies."

Brooke grumbled something under breath while I mumbled out a, "Hi."

"I was expecting more enthusiasm, but that will do."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"What do you want, Wyatt?" Brooke said.

"You." he said blankly.

"Sadly, you can't. Now can you go?"

"No."

"Just leave me alone."

"You know I can't do that, Brooke." Wyatt smirked.

"You're despicable."

"You're lovable."

"You're unbelievable."

"You're adorable."

"You're horrible."

"You're beautiful."

If Wyatt were to tell me that I would have blushed right then and there. But Brooke was unfazed by that comment and glared at him.

"Leave, before I kick your ass."

He held up his hands in defense, then stood up from the table. "Feisty."

Then he walked away to his other friends. I couldn't help but applaud.

"Quite a show you put there."

"And where were you?" She demanded. "You could've said at least one thing to help me out."

"Sorry, I froze up Brooke."

"Since you're my best friend, I'll forgive you. But next time you better come up with some bad adjectives the next time Wyatt comes here."

"Fine," I groaned.

"Hey Brooke." Isaac said as he sat next to Brooke and put his arm around her shoulder.

Brooke battered her eyes. "Hi Isaac."

I sighed, Brooke becomes this school girl who's madly in love, and it can get embarrassing. The other boys pretended to gag as they cooed at each other. My eyes wandered around the cafeteria, better than watching Brooke and Isaac go cuckoo for each other. Then they landed on Wyatt, who sat casually with some of his friends.

He was looking at Brooke and Isaac. I watched as his face looked annoyed with the lovebirds. He rubbed the back of his neck then his eyes met mine. He raised his eyebrow, in panic I reverted back to Brooke and Isaac. Did he notice me staring at me? How embarrassing if he did.

Isaac noticed Wyatt staring at me, or must have thought he was staring at Brooke. "Hey Brooke, what's been going on with you and Wyatt?"

Brooke miraculously stopped going Isaac crazy and looked back at Wyatt with a glare. "Nothing, he's still being some stalker jerk like always."

Isaac nodded. "I know it's true for your point of view, Brooke. But you just can't help but feel sorry for the guy."

I snorted.

Both od them turned to me. I shrugged my shoulders and glanced at Wyatt.

I muttered to myself. "More for his reputation you should feel sorry for."
