Throughout her fifteen years of stealing, killing, and spying, and yet this was going to be the thing that will drive Sam insane.

"Here for Perry" Sam knocked on the assistant's table. It's been about twenty minutes since she came in through the doors, yet nobody seemed to notice, let alone come to help.

"Here for Perry, Lora Perry" she repeated louder, knocking on the table again. The only thought keeping her here was money, she truly needed it.

"She's waiting for you, ma'am" couple more minutes had passed before Sam heard obnoxious high heels tap against marbled floors, immediately making the visitor turn around. Stranger was cueing Sam to follow her, which was not a necessity as she was already rushing to step forward. The first odd thing Sam noticed about the woman was her ridiculous positivity. Sam had nothing against a happy attitude, however, it was way too early in the morning.

They walked across the cold bright hallways for what felt like hours till they finally reached doors with 'Lora June' written on them, the woman who's the reason Sam is here today.

"I'm sorry" suddenly she stopped and turned back at the visitor, with that huge obnoxious smile splattered across her face, "we have a lot of sensitive and classified information inside. I'm afraid I need you to hand me your phone before going in, ma'am"

"Don't be sorry" she answered in a monotonous voice, not amazed at all, "and don't be afraid, I'm just not giving it to you" Sam started walking up to the doors, however, the assistant ran up to them and blocked the way immediately, earning low growl in return. It's way too early in the morning for this shit.

"I'm sorry I cannot allow this," she said again, her sweet voice almost testing Sam.

"And I said don't be sorry, because I am not giving it to you" Sam answered yet again as unsurprised as she could. She tried moving through, barely keeping herself from not smashing the woman's head into the wall. But what was the point? The security would be here in no time. Not that she couldn't take them out too, though.

Lora must have heard their arguments and arguing through the doors, since moments later she burst through them.

Awkward posture, simple oval glasses covering almost half of her face. Lora, the mysterious woman who contacted Sam for a job was standing right in front of her. At first glance, she looked less like someone who'd hire an assassin and more like someone looking for a lab partner.

"Tell this woman that I can have my phone" Sam furrowed her eyebrows as her frustration grew. She usually had a lot of patience, working the job she had been, the training she went through, it's only natural for her to be patient. Not this morning, though.

"She can keep it, it's okay," Lora said, gently nodding the woman while gesturing Sam to come in.

"I have been waiting forever in here," she said while walking around the office, passing through baby blue curtains which did not go well with the rest of the office design. Exquisite landscape shining through a covered window.

"I must apologize for that" Lora walked up to the table, searching through papers. For a company this huge and rich, her office sure was a mess. "This is an... An unusual work request, I'll admit" the woman continued while browsing through documents, looking for something. Things were falling as she tried to grab them, so uncomfortably handling everything she touched that even Sam squinted in anticipation.

"Right, and I thought you needed help with teenage vandals here at Riverside Supernatural Training Program," she said while picking something off the floor, putting it back on the table. Seconds later Sam gripped the chair behind and practically fell into it, brushing hands through her blonde buzz-cut hair. The contrast between that and her dark skin was nice, it especially complimented her eyes.
